my desktop of one year giving me problem. surfing HWZ wif 5 tabs, internet explorer will lag. cant view 1080p movie, will lag after view mins. 720p no problem.


using win 7 ultimate
Intel(R) Pentium(R) D CPU 3.4GHz
8gb ram
64 bit operating system
Display adapters Intel(R) G41 express chipset
Windows Experience Index rating 3.5


can anyone give me suggestion on how to solve tis problems

i requested for I3 or I5 but he say i only use it for normal web surfing n movies, tis is enough and i paid 700 in all for 8gb ram, win 7, and 1tb hardisk

I think he got that processor + motherboard off a 7 year old com and happily sell to u with profit of $500+. If he dick enough to give u a **** processor, quite sure your windows 7 also illegal one.

Did he give u the original windows disc? Also, even if is illegal it won't have any problem. Just saying that to show u how he cut cost and chop u hard. This pc probably took him lesser than $250 to make.

so tis set is basically my old set wif new processor, ram and win 7

Sad to say you have been conned or at the very least chopped by your PC seller.

Suggest you approach Nigel and see if he has any better decent used CPU/mobo to help you upgrade for minimal costs (maybe $100-$150). I suspect your RAM also DDR2. At least your OS and RAM can reuse.

Else you can also easily get a much better machine new today for $3xx at SLS, I think with Intel Pentium Gxxxx processor. Or find Fortran to recommend you something.

If you want good help, go to GS aka Nigel's shop. Pc cares and solution #02-32 if i never remember wrongly. That guy trying to scam you more money. You are on a 8 year old cpu + motherboard that he supposingly upgraded for $700. All he did was install windows 7 + add more ram. Doesn't even cost him $200
