Assuming there is advance warning giving you extra 7mins and you are at the Giyrong border. The decision that you make will make a difference.

A) If you panic and decide to drive downhill, it is likely a GG decision. The flash flood was coming down at speed of apprx 150-180 kph. I dont think you will be able to drive very far off in a winding valley road in that 7mins. From google map, the downhill road are just next to the river banks. The flash flood will just catch up soon and you will just go down together with the flood.

B) if you decide to drive uphill direction (the video whereby the bus port building that was flash away). As per the video below, it say the flash flood went uphill for around 2.4km. So if you drive fast enough in that 7mins, maybe you might survive.

China show a before and after video of the Giyrong border immigration building. Looks like the building is gone.

RIP man jialat building gone means numbers bound to rise... but not shown ??

there are a few more buildings beside the immigration building. Assumption these are the apartment units that the civil servants ppl are staying.

So i guess maybe 30-60 ppl from the Panda side. Another video from the ground at the Giyrong border.

Understandable also. If don't take the picture, then the body decomposed few days later how to ID by then??

No recovered body or parts how to tally body count. This is in line with international practice?

The thailand audit minstry building collapse also stated missing until recovered body part. After all debris cleared still could not find remain missing people dna then declared dead.

CCTV footage shown stream of people running out of the building. Most people should be out of the building, except the custom building officer remained at the building gate to direct people out of the building until last moment.

The debris flow surged upstream to the north for about 3 km in the direction building people were running and the bus carpark in the cctv footage. The body and body part could be buried in the thick layer mud. I think needs to slowly comb the debris and mud layer blocking the road for body while clearing road. That is why after few days only clear one km of mud on the road to gyirong port.

Standard practice is collect dna sample or dental imprints to match with living relatives and dentist record.

Some geology and engineering experts are saying this is a man-made disaster. They should have anticipated flash floods and mudslides in this critical convergence point of the rivers but from the before photos there were no buffers for these natural events.
Cfm man made lah. They dig here there construction here there then climb here there poo here there

Moi think this is the equipment which they need to retrieve bodies from the lake. Due to water current, a lot of people or bodies could have been swept into the lake. Even if can’t find, also can find their belongings.

….. of DSAR (Deep Search and Rescue) or DSRV (Deep Submergence Rescue Vehicle), which can easily be misheard or auto-corrected as "dictator." [1, 2]
DSAR-6 is a highly specialized mini-submarine operated by the Republic of Singapore Navy. It is launched from Singapore's primary submarine rescue ship, the MV Swift Rescue. Instead of a "dictator," this vehicle is a deep-sea rescue asset designed to attach itself to disabled submarines on the ocean floor to save trapped sailors. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Singapore has deployed this equipment for several high-profile real-world operations in the region:
    • The Indonesian Submarine (2021): MV Swift Rescue and its deep-sea equipment were sent to help locate and rescue the crew of the missing Indonesian navy submarine, KRI Nanggala (402).
    • AirAsia Flight QZ8510 (2015): The vessel was used to help search for and locate the wreckage of the crashed commercial airliner in the Java Sea.
