The whole side of the mountain broke off together with the glacier and dropped more than one km into the river valley below. The impact huge enough to register 5.2 on the richter scale.

This family is based in Canada the last 5 years. Becoming Singaporean was merely a stepping stone to the final country where they would settle down and Singapore is not it. You can't blame some netizens for being so mean when all these people want is to leech off our system. Hope the daughters can seek closures soon.

Think can't help wonder bah. All the other places, especially NP so much more backward. CN being so high tech, digital and advanced, some more under heavy surveillance. Cannot be don't know where most, if not all the people are one. Those other people use more traditional methods also can come out with a list of missing. But CN nothing much.

Think got saw some mentions on social media. CN come across as doing a show. Try to showcase their 'rescue' effort. Much of the details about the people and disaster footage they like removed from their media. Only show how much work and progress they do. Think some media also got mentioned alot of their people like looked pretty clean, no sign of really working the ground like that. Thus the mention, like doing a show to look good for the world perhaps.

Not sure how true, maybe just for laugh....



The thing is CN don't really link real human faces to the disaster. They can say till got dragon got phoenix their rescue effort. But without the faces of the disaster victims on it. Its quite hard for many to really appreciate and relate to their effort. Thus the mention they look more like doing a show like that. Disaster recovery show perhaps.
