You can always stop the video and return to where you stopped. Some movies more than 2 hours so quite waste time. I watched 2012 batman and it is 2 hr 45 min. Used to 2 hr movies.

Hopefully Starhub and M1 will also follow the same so that user can have a better connection to Netflix. If use their STB is only HD video and no UHD?

if the other ISP can do the same then it's not 'exclusive' partnership with Singtel liao..

May be u are right however using STB will be HD only as their box is HD. Also can not 4 screens viewing for big family. May be other isp can have other arrangement with Netflix later.

So apparently we should be able to watch Netflix through the Singteltv box, but their box is only capable of 720p/1080i. Urgh, i might as well watch through the app on my TV which can get me 4K

And moreover, I think if you want through Singtel, you may not be able to use VPN and watch US version.

True however Netflix is working to provide all contents to every country without the need for vpn. It will affect the business of VPN companies and ISP with vpn.

If this happen then no more Netflix US la. Some ISP with auto-vpn service will cry la. People sign up with them because they have vpn and Tv box to watch Netflix. Finish la.

Hulu has been doing this VPN block since April 2014, if you search on the net, you can still find ways to get around it, so I don't think you need to worry too much.

Even if VPN IP addresses got blocked, VPN companies will work out new ways or get new ip addresses to not get blocked after a while. Otherwise how to make money?

VPN companies won't roll over and die.

Never know Hulu got VPN block. I can still watch with VPN.
