It still won't work for iPhone. Any kind of NFC field will activate ApplePay even if you have NETSPay app on screen.

Yes. Can only use Nets QR for ios devices.

I did my first (and only) purchase at cheers. The cashier knew what to do. But it seemed troublesome coz she need to print out a QR code paper for me to scan. Waiting for $5 to credit and delete haha

The QR code did not appear on the nets terminal I suppose?

If credit card can't be used and deduction is only from debit account, what is the point? (pun intended).

The point is "cashless".

In any case, there were already cashless means such as NETS prior to all these jumping onto the bandwagon of QR codes payments, lemmings following our PM and China.

Only difference.... no more need to key in the pin for NETS transactions.

Just like when Paynow was launched. Majority signed up because of the incentives. And the banks all blow their trumpets on the sign up rates. But I wonder how many of those that signed up are active users, ditto this XXXPay trend.

I find paynow very useful, if possible I prefer paynow for all my fund transfer transactions.

no need token to add accounts number really save alot of hassle.

Their CSO asked me to check with NETS instead.... *facepalm*

Tnc coming from DBS not NETS

The Cashback will be credited to the Qualifying Card account within 60 days from the end of
the Promotion Period. Where a customer has more than one Qualifying Card account, the
Cashback will be credited back to the Qualifying Card account that made the first successful
transaction.
