Thanks for the summary. Very clear and concise. I will read up on MR t&c and see whether there is anything that needs clarification.Yes SH uses XGS-PON ONT for 10Gbps plan. For 5Gbps plan it uses Nokia all-in-one ONR by default but you can request to change to ONT (better at the spot of sign-up).
MR 10Gbps plan uses XGS-PON ONT.
For ONT, you can use your preferred router to its full ability and no need to worry about Double NAT or things like that for ONR.
Starhub does not provide static IPv4 address, only dynamic. Same for Singtel, only dynamic IPv4 address.
MR provides static IPv4 address at one time charge of S$51. If you need static IPv4 address and 10Gbps, then MR is the only one to go now.

Heard that may be selling off the company to others.Anyone has any idea why M1 is so quiet on 5G/10G front?
Like totally no sound no nothing....machiam giving up the fight like that...
You not disappointed at all? Got TV contents?installed starhub 10g plan today..3500mbps dl from speedtest via 10g port (router) to 10g nic on pc :O
Why still trial?Trial Duration
From MR website. the 10G is a "trial" version till end of this month only? Then still force ppl to sign 24months contract?
- Customers who sign up for HyperSpeed 10Gbps or GAMER 10Gbps can enjoy the 10GPON trial, subject to MyRepublic’s discretion in determining the starting date of the 10GPON trial. The 10GPON trial is valid until 30 June 2024. However, MyRepublic reserves the right to, without any prior notice, modify, extend, suspend, or cease the 10GPON trial (in whole or in part) immediately and at any time, without further liability on MyRepublic to customers.

Yuup…make a better decision after Jun. maybe they extend trial to dec24…..i'm also looking at this...
SH & ST made it clear that it's no longer a trial...
maybe just wait after 30 June 2024 and see what's next for MR...
EPL for us only. Now UEPA EURO 2024, SH also do not have it included in their sports pass and we can not watch it. By right, SH should include it to Sports pass. Their sports pass is not complete la.still okay, cat 5e internal cabling so bo bian, and main thing is for EPL 2 yrs![]()

Nice to read this. I just hope that i TV contents can improve a bit like their Sports Pass, I think not good.I was sceptical about the news as it was first reported by Edge Singapore.

I am still sceptical about the rumor even though there are more media reports about this matter. After all, Starhub CEO rebuffed the speculation as per the following Strait Times report.

i nv check hahaha!what was the technician's end-device speed test result?
like to check something:
starhub 10g
The nokia ONT has 1x 10g and 3x lan out.
The starhub tech had connected the ONT 10g to the EB810V 10g WAN. And from the router distribute to the different lan points in the house (mbr,br2, br3, living room) via the 4 data points patch panel in the db box
But this router is too big for my DB box area and I am also concern on the heat issue.
Can I directly connect ONT to the 4 data points patch panel and relocate the router to the living room?
Or only 1 port can be used from the ONT?
thanks thanks~
No la, the ONT must connect to Router first then from Router to the room. The router can be outside the box but the wiring must be there as mentioned earlier.like to check something:
