1st July will have a better picture liao.

Waiting for confirmed information on Sabah and Sarawak mm2h.
Agent fees.
And whether SEZ mm2h is limited to only medini/forest city.

The 90 days min stay requirement will make it difficult for those still working to fulfill.
I believe SEZ is the whole of johor, basically lots of unsold stock all over jb. U only need to worry once 10 yrs are over. Wd it be wiser to rent for 10yrs? What happens if extremism increases as the middle east war worsens, Malay sgkies retiring wd be safe, not sure abt Chinese sgkies. SEZ = sibei excess zone

Agreed. But I don't think people who apply for MM2H will have problem fulfilling this criteria :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
Don't think they entertain anybody who qualifies ..
They also play the race card just like any country...
Dont be fooled...
Data shows only about 1000 people of sg citizenship have got mm2h...

MM2H is not a stable and attractive scheme.
Msia is joining brics soon, sg is still basically more pro west. Already we see pro palestinian protests in sg, can't imagine what happens next in Msia. Even buying condo in Thailand seems much safer when compared to Msia.

Now why would i buy a property knowing i would incur loss upon disposal after 10yrs? I rather they make a requirement to deposit rm800k - 1mk with bank. After 10yrs i still get back princ + int. I may incur some losses due to currency conversion. But the loss may not be as much as selling off my 800k - 1m apt.
Don't forget, poor maintenance in jb condo wif our tropical monsoon will look twice the age. Who wants to buy old 2nd hand wor. Juz rent....oh but wait, wif tis new mm2h u have to buy ppty in order to stay.

Up to individual. For me i prefer landed. Not difficult to dispose off if i nid to. But it has to be G&G precinct. Most buyers including jhk whos working here, they prefer g&g houses. As for apts or condos, they are abundance in JB. Like lelong sales. If wish to own a condo, be sure to spent slightly more and source for good location. Location. Location.

Can still rent. Can still in and out JB. But i cant share much here. Wait i kana pawn by sinkies again.

Say only. Malaysia export to USA is a lot more than their export to China. Other thing is that export to USA is growing, while export to China is declining. Don't expect their Mao Shan Wang exports to change this status.

Malaysia is benefiting from USA's action of decoupling from China.

Think when I retire in the future, I will stay 2 months a year in Malaysia, 2 months a year in Vietnam, 2 months a year in Thailand, 1 month a year in Batam, 1 month in China tour. Rest of time in Singapore.

Will not buy any apartment. Just rent when required. Since some friends have already bought properties in Malaysia, Thailand, etc will bunk in if convenient.

Only thing I will invest is air tickets.
