For those who ported in.

What time at night that the Heya sim becomes active (Can be used)?
The line on the porting-out telco will become inactive shortly after 23:00 at night. The Heya line will become active on the next day around 02:00. Note that the Heya SIM will be unusable even with a temporary number until the porting has completed successfully.

That's just my guess as I'm not awake at 02:00. All I remember is that when I woke up at 08:00 my Heya SIM is active.

Note that SMS OTP will take one or two days to be properly "set up" on your Heya SIM after the porting in is completed. Have some patience.

1. Once number port over then can start using. You should receive a sms
2. App is to track your usage (data, call)
3. No need go down to shop to top up. Use shopee to top up. I said many times liao, use can shopee coins to offset
3. Correct. Even the official Heya webpage at https://heya.sg has the links to Lazada and Shopee for the online top-up. Maybe from their existing Telco / ISP, they cannot navigate to heya.sg and check for themselves? :ROFLMAO:

We're happy to help with questions, but we're hoping that people at least put in 2 cents of effort to find the information for themselves first. At the very least, on the official heya website.

For 100GB pack. So far other then Simba. The rest mostly using Singtel network eg Heya, Zym ,Zero1.and Vivi
I know Changi also have 100GB at $10 using M1 network.
Is there any other starhub network 100Gb pack too?
redOne Perfect 10 provide 100gb, 500min calls &100sms (to SG & MY nos.). About 512kbps speed unlimited data if exceed 100gb usage. No roaming though. Using Starhub network, i feel it is more stable than Heya of which I had ported out. Changi $10 100gb is 50gb 4G speed + 50gb streaming speed. According to a reply from its Facebook, streaming speed for this plan is 128kbps, that is quite unusable.

Redone using Starhub network need pay extra $10 registration fees.
There is a $10 rebate on 2nd or 3rd month (depending on day of port-in) for port-in so in essence it off-set the $10 registration fee. But the rebate is promo period so must confirm first before proceed.

I guess it depends on tier level for Singtel network, so if there are more main ST users or even its MVNO users, Heya users may have to give way first being the lowest rung. But in general, Heya network is not bad really just that I am surprised too that redONE is better in my experience. Simba(4G I m not sure abt its 5G) and M1 are less consistent.

IMHO.
Heya is a postpaid SIM Only mobile plan provided by Singtel Mobile.
In my speedtest, heya seems to have higher priority over another Singtel MVNO.

Maybe you can share what makes redOne a better experience for you over Heya ?

I usually watch live streaming YouTube so unlike uploaded YouTube, once there is a throttling, it will show. Heya will have buffering happening more often especially evenings and Sunday, redONE rarely. In name, Heya is postpaid but its default APN is actually HiCard prepaid, so hierarchy wise, it may be on par or lower than MVNOs. But nevertheless, throttling is definitely more often for Simba4G & M1&MVNOs

For heya sign up or port in, can only be done from the various retailers listed in their pdf file, and can't do it online?
Thanks and sorry if this has been answered before.

Indeed and you need not pay any additional adm/registratn fee, free Sim Card + $10 plan, best to call to clarify with shops before heading down.

Fixed on different locations though. Mainly in central west area. On the go wise via public transport over & under ground, both networks are quite alrite i think, non-peak of cos. One main reason that I exit ST network is 1 of my tablets cannot operate on ST 4G network, tried on Zero1 & Heya, same issue only hv 3G, helplines just provide std answers, no solutions. SIMBA, SH & M1 no problem on running 4G on this tablet. That is y i decided to go to the dark side. Else ST netwk is a no brainer but redONE is a surprise. c",)

Thanks for the information - usually if less take up, the experience is better. 👍

Agreed, Heya has no throttling issue before Vivifi & ZYM & CMLink joins the $10 100GB club. Since then, it is on the downhill. Hope redONE take up rate is sufficient enough to survive yet not over crowded.

16/10/2023:
1700 hrs: Bought the $10 Heya card at a shop with option to port-in.
1715 hrs: Received SMS that Port-In was in progress.
1735 hrs: Received SMS that Port-In was successful.
2300 hrs: Received email that my existing telco mobile plan was terminated.
17/10/2023:
0200 hrs: After rebooting my mobile phone. Heya became active and fully functional.
0230 hrs: Login in to Heya App via OTP with my ported-In mobile number.

Fast and furious indeed! :) Nice to see the VOLTE logo! :) My 1st try on Heya!

This is not throttling. Throttling is intentional limiting. An example of throttle is RedOne limiting to basic internet speed.
