thanks @keenklee for your objective comparison. yeah I was digging out more threads and discovered about the key difference being that Gomo is Singtel-owned while the others are not. So there's some priority given to Gomo users in terms of bandwidth or latency.

my mobile line is Gomo while my home broadband is using heya (hotspotting). as I'm a light user... no streaming... no online gaming... I probably can't tell the difference between the two.

which is why I'm thinking of dumping Gomo since it doesn't come with roaming calls (if need to receive call when overseas from banks verifying fraudulent transactions, for example, or from other important places/people).

wish Gomo can address that and add roaming calls but I doubt one person's feedback will make a difference.

Yes, one really have to look around and do comparison to find a suitable plan.
My main plan is still Singtel.

Dont think Singtel is so generous to provide receiving roaming calls when in overseas. If I not wrong, only Simba can call / receive overseas call (using the Simba voice call app).

The fact that Heya can receive OTP sms when in overseas is already a bonus.

imagine there's an emergency back home (Singapore) but the family members can't contact you when you're overseas because you're on Gomo.. which does not allow incoming roaming calls. they have to resort to messaging on SMS or whatsapp/telegram or do data calls (if you have data).

or like me, kena a couple of times when delivery services (from online purchases) want to call you but you couldn't accept the call and they also dunno why (no idea you're overseas).

afaik.. all mvnos can receive OTP when overseas..

and I've checked out all other singtel-based mvnos like zym, zero1, vivifi, cmlink all support roaming incoming calls, at $2 per minute. only gomo doesn't (and if I'm not wrong heya doesn't as well)

correction... vivifi roaming incoming is $3.10/min most expensive of the mvnos

Hi I signed up for Heya yesterday 6 Jan (sat) around 430pm. Mine is a porting case as I'm previously using redone. I haven't write in to redone. No idea if I need to. But I remember when I port from vivifi to redone, i only go to redone sign up. And then that's it. Don't have to inform vivifi. Fast forward, Until today 7 Jan still not active. May I check roughly how many days is required for the port over?

My Giga is terrible. Thinking of switching.

Not much issue with Heya underground. But sometimes it can get stunk when u r in crowded places (eg: sunday on orchard road where all the maids are doing tiktok videos)

IMHO.
I have Simba, Zym and Heya.
I use Heya in MY.

Heya roaming for the 3 countries is 1 GB per month, can rollover until 4GB.
