u getting apple care?

erm no la how to play overwatch with iPad?

AFAIK overwatch runs on Windows, so PC is more appropriate. Unless you are planning to run WIndows in VM or bootcamp, which I don't see a point getting a mbp if the macOS is underutilised

not necessary. The best part about Mac is that it has the best of both world. It can run both Mac and windows natively.

Given the design, built, quality, the specs of the MacBook. Anyone who has used a MacBook will know, they are things that none of the windows laptops available can compare.

Even it is Windows, MacBook is also a perfect laptop to use with it.

can anyone convince taking mcpro 13'' instead of xps13 pls. i been waiting for mcpro for 1.5 years for this release but the price is shocking

if u have used the MacBook before. The answer is clear cut.

In any case, Xps13 is nothing cheaper than MacBook. Even the price, MacBook is still the best laptop to own.

Which specs are you comparing? Xps 13 has Kaby Lake for the start. Their i7 model compared to MacBook i5.

i7 xps 13 is at $2399 before discount and Macbook pro with touch bar is at $2588 but at i5. Adding on you can get tons of discounts during IT show or at Besk Denki etc. Last week it was just $2000

Their 15inch lineup pricing are even more ridiculous, Radeon Pro? Just because it is installed on a Macbook "Pro"? At $3388 you only get a crappy 2gb dGPU

And it is horrible to use Parallels to run a full windows. Anyone who use it will know how laggy it is and not to mention the need to renew a license almost annually.

It is a joke for MacBook pro to be called Pro without at least Iris Pro iGPU.

So the best of both world point is not valid at all, it is a nightmare to run programming apps in Parallels. I've been using Macs for years and I am disappointed by their computer vision ever since SJ passes away. Google and you can see a lot of people turning away. Face it.

BuIIshit, branch out more to take a good look at other Windows laptops available outside now. For one, Xps 13 built quality is robust and not crappy. Your point is valid only during the reign of Steve Jobs and Steve Ballmer, that's when Macs truly triumph over Windows. After Steve passes away and Satya Nadella took over and introduce Windoes 10, plus with Tim Cook focusing on iPad and iPhone, the tide is turning. Apple is definitely losing a lot of users at this point.

I am not condemning Mac but one needs to take a further look and not blindly lean to one side. I am still keeping my 2015 MacBook pro

if you have doubts about this MBP lineup.

then get the alternative. you are probably not the target audience for this year's MBP.

simple, wasn't it?

Seems like most of the people here are blaming Apple with the specs and price. Well, Intel is partly to blame with their erratic release of Skylake and Kabylake.

Skylake processor still hasn't officially supported LPDDR4 that's why Apple went with LPDDR3 for their RAM. Windows manufacturer tweak their system to be able to support DDR4 thus their battery life is affected and heat issue might arise. Iris Pro graphics on the Slylake has only just begun to release and Apple cannot be waiting to play the Intel's game. The 15" MacBook has dedicated GPU so it's a not a big deal anyway.

Why should Apple sacrifice their form factor and battery life just because Intel screw up in their chip release?

If you are a long term mac user, you should know the battery life is very important to us and MacBook Pro battery life is 2nd to none. Performance to battery life ratio is outstanding. Real user do not care about high end GPU cos they are not using this machine to play games but to use this dedicated GPU for extra graphical performance.

Apple should really take intel out of the silicon equation, and design their own CPU

 dun always focus on specs.

Why keep compare mac with windows?

If wan windows, get dell xps.

If wan mac os, get macbook pro.

If wan mac os n got budget, get macbook or macbook pro non touchbar.

There are gd performance review on the macbook pro non touchbar.
