Definitely not. I constantly see promos for Switch Lite on Shopee with prices like $229 and $219, my brother even got it at a best deal $209 Sword and Shield edition with local warranty.

Singapore does not have eshop. You need to set to another region to access eshop

I'm just wondering why I need to pay additional to get the grey color - when overseas the Lite (in any color) are priced the same

I mean, Lite prices are the same as released by Nintendo (https://www.nintendo.com/switch/buy-now/#nintendo-switch-lite). But then these shops tell you you have to pay additional for the color that you want Really crazy That extra top-up of $20 is already an equivalent of some eShop games on sale!

Sorry, just venting. I'm quite curious what Maxsoft has to say about the difference in pricing.

Don't worry about it. Shortage only in US and EU side due to shipping delays from China. Asia doesn't have the same problems but im guessing there are sellers that bet normal people dont know that.

What's happening now is 3rd party sellers are selling grey sets to shortage regions and sending by air to beat the transport ships arrival time.

The main buyers are those those caught by animal crossing hype and as gifts.

The most ex grey sets are still those Japan sets of any color.
