To be fair, it takes a while

More importantly, after the tweaks your phone should be in deep sleep most of the time when you are not using it...

Otherwise, you may still have apps or processes keeping your phone awake - just look at the awake versus screen in the battery chart for clues - especially if you see large chunks of awake when the screen is off...hahah

My Note 2 build is : JRO03C.N7105XXA "LIJ". But most of you are on "LJ5" right?

Sometimes rebooting the phone will help.

BetterBatteryStats is a better app for battery monitoring.

Get it on xda forums.

I don't know what is stopping my Note 2 from going into deep sleep.

Check using betterbatterystats or system panel

I suspect bloatware and auto sync

To monitor - I suggest offing your data connection for an hour and see if there is any drop in battery...

If got no drop, then it's likely apps that are constantly accessing the web that are causing the drain...

Sometimes it is the ads that are the culprit - then you need to use droidwall or adaway etc to either restrict access or stop the ads

On a average moderate usage working day, at the end of the day.. my phone will have about 30-40%

What do you guys do?

Charge it overnight or what? because if i don't i'm sure the battery will be dead by 2nd day afternoon..

Yup, you have a lot of apps running in the background...

I always use System Panel to end all the task I don't need...hahah

Heck, I even end inactive and background apps sometimes :s13:

My current battery is 80% after 9.5 hours with 1.5 hours of screen time :D

Mine is around 70% after 8hours with 2.5hours of screen time :(

I think i read at somewhere before, they mentioned it's better to only charge your phone when it's 5%-15%?

What can be turned off? BT only right? What else?

Apps should be your main focus bah...

Besides BT, GPS also needs to be turned off...

And if you tweak the settings correctly, you should see your batt graph show a flat line whenever the screen is off :D

Nope doesn't apply to the new batteries which use a different technology, Google around. :)

I off 3G, only use data plan when i'm outside. Off all brightness, Sometimes even off sound, only put alarm..

The other time i do all this.. 6-7hrs only drop 1%.. test and proven :o

So can just charge anytime?
