Why so serious? I'm just using this as an example. I have N2 TG as well.

No offense though! But you should be looking at the Usage time and not the Idle/Standby time unless you buy a phone to use as a paper weight..?

My no SIM card iPhone 4 lost only 3-5% the whole day, true story! Was transferring data to my Note 2 and restoring it to default to pass to my mother.
No SIM card = No signal and data connection = on Flight Mode

When I sleep at night, I put my phone on flight mode and the battery drops only 1-2%. It's comparable, isn't it..?

I'm not offended. Just highlighting to you different usage patterns will lead to different battery times. If you're using your phone mainly as a paper weight, calls and sms, a nokia 3310 will certainly fare far better results compared to your iPhone.

I use my smartphone with all its smart features. I also browse extensively on my smartphone. With such heavy usage, there's no way the iPhone can last longer than a Note 2. Though as you've proven, with light usages such as yours, the iPhone may be capable of lasting longer.

Don't think 3310 can do email, VPN and my corporate apps. I also noticed that N2 takes a while to charge on USB than iP5.

how many mah is ip5 battery?
note 2 is 3100mah.
u go do the math yourself.

hmm...from your earlier post u were using ip for mostly calls/email/sms only...if note 2 also use only that...i don't know when then he batt will run out.

plus...if u use note 2 correctly...as a smartphone...u don't even need to carry 2 around (unless 2 different lines).

Don't really use USB to charge my N2 anymore after the first round of USB charging session. I have multiple batteries for N2 which uses battery cradle to charge the batteries. iP5 is my main phone now and it is so much easier to carry around. The N2 just stays at home with the rest of my phones when I'm outdoors. Plus, I can't have a phone that will screw up on me when I'm on overseas trips no matter how good the battery time is.

Wow why are you even under the impression Note 2 can't be used overseas? You seem to think iPhone 5 is the only smartphone in this era..........

I don't recall mentioning that N2 can't be used overseas. As a retired businessman, the iP5 suits my needs when I'm moving from places to places. I don't watch movies. I much prefer reading news and books on my iPads / Kindle.

Don't think need to sell anything if I can afford it. Maybe you would need to in order to afford yours. Why so serious?

oh btw, back to topic. Today i played roughly 2 hours of Need For speed : Most wanted, surf quite abit of net, whatsapp, music and batt lasted 12 hours! if it were to be my previous Note (which i sold away to afford my Note2 :s13:) i would need to swap my battery out after 8 hours.

That's correct. You need to sell away your stuffs in order to afford your other stuffs.
