MM1 is M1 (customized for M1)
SIN is Singtel (customized for Singtel)
STH is Starhub (customized for Starhub)
XSP is non-Telco (not customized by Telco)

Customization generally includes adding of Telco-related apps and services into the firmware.

I will always set as XSP even if I have gotten Telco sets as from past experiences, Telco sets can take quite some time to receive firmware updates. If set as XSP, you will almost always be able to upgrade firmware once the firmware is released and not have to wait for Telco to customize the firmware and push the update to you.

After updating the firmware(XSP), need change bak to SIN or stick to XSP?

Stick with XSP better, quicker to get new update.

As mentioned in my earlier post, I always change the CSC code to XSP and stick with it.

You can immediately upgrade firmware once it is released and not wait for Telco to finish customizing the firmware and push to you. That is why some users have not received the Lollipop upgrade yet, if they are using the customized firmware (MM1, SIN, STH).

Change of CSC

Hi all

You can try this:

http://www.droidviews.com/how-to-change-csc-in-samsung-galaxy-phones/

Step by step.

Change CSC to XSP.
To change back or retain, is up to you.

Remember to backup all data. All data will be erased.
I don't know about you all, but I realised my Note 3 under the local CSC has not been updated firmware for a long time. After I changed the CSC, the phone started updating again.

My initial observation after using Lollipop on my Note 3 for a week or so...

My wifi keeps losing connection once a while. This does not happened under Kit Kat. But it is not a major problem for me.

I am facing the same problem too. Before upgrading to Lollipop, the wifi was much more stable on kitkat.
