Note 3 Finally gets Lollipop

Hi guys . I cant seem to update the latest lollipop firmware be it on the phone and also on KIES. Can anyone tell me whats wrong?

After update I notice my default alarm clock not working. It says unfortunately the alarm has stopped. Anyone experience?

anyone experienced tis aft the lolly upgrade, wan switch on mobile data end up cannot connect at all, need to turn flight mode on and off then it will guai guai connect; wan turn off mobile data also cannot properly turn off cos i can receive whatsapp noti with both mobile data and wifi off wts

burden bug for weeks wan make me switch to note 5 already

After upgrading to 5.0, have experienced many times apps suddently stopped and a message popped up saying "application stopped...". Phone screen turned black and not responding to anything. After a few seconds the app launched by itself and working again. Haven't had such problem with kitkat. Anyone had the same issue?

anyone also kena, when set alarm in mute mode it gave a error of clock stop working ? in vibrate or sound mode seem fine

i read somewhere clear clock data and cache and change the clock setting in Date/time - Date format and choose regional setting . it work on some device. Anyone with not functioning alarm can give it a test .

Those with apps problems maybe can go to particular app and clear cache or clear cache at the 3 button boot up, might help

Done but still same. I realized that the alarm clock works occasionally and after awhile not working again.

I kind of knew that there would be much bugs after our Note 3 upgrade to Lollipop. However, that did not stop me from upgrading. Kitkat served me superbly well. I wanted to taste Lollipop with my Note 3 even though it would be around for a few more weeks.

Yes, Note 5 is releasing 12 Aug and here on 21 Aug. However, I am a sucker of replaceable bty. For the last two years, actually more than that if you count my Note 1, I carried a full charge spare battery whenever I go. And I simply replaced my depleted one with the fully charged one, and it is always enough for me to reach home to charge my depleted one, and the next day, i will have my existing battery inside my Note and a fully charged one in my pocket.

I have been doing this for more than 3 years. I am afraid Note 5 most likely will not allow me to do it.. non-replaceable battery is very likely, following S6.

Note 4 is still possible. I may changed to Note 4 next month.

Yes, my note 3 hang sometimes after upgrading to Android 5.0. There are still quite a few other bugs I've noticed with 5.0, e.g. wifi disconnection, app crash...waiting for the next release to fix the bugs. Any one know when the next update will be available for note 3 for Singapore?

well, i don't think we will get updates anymore on note 3... don't think can get 5.0.1.... imho
