After phone call is connected, can press on the record button to record. Can stop also.

U need playback via Recent calls page like what @DigDub mention, if it doesnt appear, try clear storage and cache for google dialer and try again

Many thanks for your kind help bros. I had to clear cache and reinstall the phone dialer. Now I can see the call recordings. 😁

I've used Google call dialer and recording without issues before. Seems to be corrupted. I did restore everything from backup to the nothing phone. I'm not sure if that could have cause the issue. Should have done a clean setup 😁

Oh no wonder. I always set up as new...such thing can happen if restore from backup

I'm still holding on to the S22 Ultra.... I think I will hold on to it longer than my nothing phone...so no point then avatar must change back 😂😂 meanwhile the nothing phone so far all good

Updated, August 22, 2022 (01:00 PM ET): Nothing has submitted a statement to Android Authority confirming its plans for the Android 13 rollout to the Nothing Phone 1. The statement, in full, is here:

We are always working hard to improve the Phone 1 user experience. To ensure this, operating system updates will be made available for regular download. In regards to Android 13, this will be launching for Phone 1 users in the first half of 2023. Before releasing, we want to fine tune the software upgrade with Nothing’s hardware. We will be sure to keep you updated with further information.
