i have received the hdb letter regarding the no. of chances i have.. i was told that i do not qualify for the tenant priority scheme.. even though i met all the criteria stated on the hdb website! what the heck, im so pissed off with hdb right now.

Btw, the tenant priority scheme is only meant for pple who rent flats from HDB and not from any other agency or personal source right?

it is meant for couples who are living in a rental flat now..
but if i'm not wrong.. for pple who qualify to rent a flat from HDB, their salary cannot be more than 1.5k/mth or somewhere around there.. so basically, i feel that it might be hard for them to buy a 4/5 room or even a 3 room flat unless their salary increases pretty fast or have stayed in rental for long...

It's for people who lived in rental flats. 5% of the flats will be side aside for us.

I fulfilled every single one of the criteria. I don't understand why I'm rejected!!

You have to stay in a rental flat for at least 2 years, and can only applied for a 2 or 3 room flats. You also have to be a first timer and there is a certain income limit as well.

Yup mine is a 2 room rental flat directly rented from hdb... I have staying in one for almost 20 years.. I seriously don't know why I'm rejected. Time to see my MP again.

thanks!!! great compilation of timeline. fingers crossed. read from link below that "since March last year, the HDB has made a commitment to release the ballot results for Build-to-Order (BTO) exercises within three weeks of the launch". . so if we take the launch date as 21 nov, 3 weeks from then will be ard 11 or 12 dec. . if we take it as 3 wks from the closing date of the application period, results shld be ard 18 dec. .

Only just received a letter from HDB confirming my application
as 1st timer and under the near parent's flat scheme.

Doubt the result will be out so soon since they just send out this application confirmation letter.

Based on the last 3 BTOs, results are released 15 days after the close of application and if this is still accurate, it will be tomorrow.

It probably just means the letter is late. Just check your My HDBPage.
