I suppose you have to see what you want, also, Ping yi would only be ready in roughly 2-3 years, and fengshan even later, by then the resale market would probably have fallen significantly thanks to the cooling measures / property market crash (if what the forbes guy predicted comes true)

Anw resale prices are already falling with a first annual dip in 8 years according to HDB, so can try you luck with resale in a few years unless getting a newly built flat is very important to you.

Having said that, I would probably be booking a flat (if we get our choice unit) as me and the other half have lived in the east all our lives and we refuse to budge haha, so we're basically just paying for the location

Ya i think Bedok is seriously overpriced lol, the Pingyi also not say it's situated beside MRT or what, 430-470 for 4 bdr , 90 sqm is fuking exp.

I have called HDB and they say it will be sent out 1 to 2 weeks before the actual selection day. But they cannot tell when letters will be sent out probably because they are dealing with a large pipeline of Nov BTO flats.

Eh I just realized can check selection date on Singpass lol. Woah mine is early next month…. and both me and other half won't be in SG haha epic fail.

yeah completed in 4Q of 2015, but acc to the BTO page, it says

'The Estimated Delivery Possession Date (EDPD) is 31 Oct 2016 for Ping Yi Greens. The EDPD is an estimation of the date that HDB is required under the Agreement for Lease to deliver possession of the flat. Applicants will be informed the Actual Delivery Possession Date during the signing of the Agreement for Lease.'

But might be earlier haha I wouldn't know, have no experience in this
