wow! u guys received interviews alr?? tatz gd.. i've appealed for linguistics n yet to get anything.. mind sharing which course u guys appealed for & gotten an interview???

oh. engineering. i think maybe becos alot of ppl appeal for dat den they shortlisted ppl to have interview? acty i m not so sure thou. becos the person said different schs have different ways of selecting their applicants. so yup. u may get in w/o any interviews too. so not to worry yea.

aiya pls lor i believe ntu is facing people who are more irritating than u. since they give u an interview = a chance, cherish it! may change ur whole life man! most likely they're gonna ask like, why shld u be given this chance, why ur GP so bad etc etc. must be prepared and ans these questions tactfully k! plus i think they may ask questions related to ur appeal essay.. thats what i think, to make sure u not chao keng one lol

hey spaceboy, i heard from the prof at the ntu hss tea party that linguistics only has 50 places and they have accepted more than fifty people alr. but i really hope you get good news abt it; good luck!

aiya pls lor i believe ntu is facing people who are more irritating than u. since they give u an interview = a chance, cherish it! may change ur whole life man! most likely they're gonna ask like, why shld u be given this chance, why ur GP so bad etc etc. must be prepared and ans these questions tactfully k! plus i think they may ask questions related to ur appeal essay.. thats what i think, to make sure u not chao keng one lol

i think not all schools are conducting interviews. i think they will conduct if their applicants no. are very large. i guess only lar. i think for common engine, i think whoever appeal for it, all will get an interview.
like myself, another guy BCD, someone CCC also got. yup. so i think like regardless the grades.

anyway, just asking. is the interview dates according to grades? like the better ones get the interview first den slowly to those average ones? ahah. or just randomly? haah. just wondering.

i think theres a reasonable number of people who pulled out of common engine, hence the interviews.. aniw, i went for my interview last yr.. gotta prepare yourself with some physics knowledge.. trust me...

erm. the interviewers did not ask me abt any physics knowledge at all. they asked me abt how i improve myself, comparing my Olvl results and my Alvl results as they see improvements. and they also just ask me abt my pw and what is my plans if i didnt get an offer. so I guess, probably i will again be rejected. i think they are quite random? so not neccessary ask abt physics things. yup.

Went for the interview today as well.
They asked about why did I retake my A levels, about myself, my cca, currently what I am doing, what do I want to specialised in at the end of year 1 common engine, why do I want to take engineering. Somewhere along the line. I think I might have meet some of you there.

oh. is it? ok. probably u got another room interviewers since they didnt ask u abt pw. i think the other room is better? not sure. the person said end of june. so i guess whoever got nxt week is successful. anyway, what did u ans them den?

hello.. i got an interview this morning too... a professor told me that there are 200 of interviewees to go through.. and they are going to complete it by end of this week.. We will only be notify of the outcome next week.. So, hold on..

I'm wondering wad do you guys answer when they said you are not being offered to the course? I'm really curious of the response that's all.. =]

hey ! oh actually they didnt ask much abt my pw. cos i tink i jus keep toking abt my topic on it. they jus ask how was it accessed aft i elaborated. oh they didnt ask much abt my cca cos i tink i elaborated alr when they ask me to tok abt myself. aiyah dont like that say. i had a few frens who went for interview frm ntu durin the first acceptance and they told me they screwed it up but end up they got their offer. oh i mentioned abt machines bcos in my appeal i wrote that i had an interest on how things work, things tat are related to phys. sigh. by the way, i'm still considering sim. i dunno if it's that bad. i tink i had enough of science. haix. but people ard me are confusing me on my decision too!
