The 3090 is really a monster card LOL

Compare with ITX for what? 3090, confirm owners are ATX and even EATX

80%:s13: Typical nvidia even making their own flagship look bad when in fact the 2080ti can pretty much hold it's own against the 3080 if your comparing doom eternal. See below(it's in July BTW), 4k Ultra Nightmare with HDR to boot from someone that actually plays the game;)

You're getting the numbers mixed up

3080 vs 2080Ti: 50% better performance on doom eternal. The screen captures are run side by side in real time. it's actual gameplay, not canned benchmarks.

80% is 3080 vs 2080 by digitalfoundry, an independent reviewer on youtube

Then what is considered midrange card?

i guess different people has different view on this

to me

mid range = cards that are affordable to most people and most bank for bucks

say 1060, 2060, 5870, 6870, 4870

so 3070 pricing is considered to be high end to me already =/ but i can see people who used to spend $400 - 500 on a gfx, is willing to spend $800 now considering 3070 is so much more powerful

With the RTX 2000 series, Nvidia shifted the price points upwards.

The previous flagship GTX 1080Ti was priced at USD699. The new flagship RTX 2080Ti was priced at USD999.

USD699 then became the price point for the mid-high range RTX 2080. Similarly for the rest of the lineup.

i just realised that there probably wont be a 3080ti this gen. the 3090 only has 20% more cores than the 3080 and a 3080ti with 30-50% more cuda cores will not only ruin the product stack but also be a 400w+ card.
3080 isnt a 2080 replacement they want u to believe. its the 2080ti replacement.

I think 3080ti is still possible, especially if AMD could surprise us with 3080 performance and even lower price.

They can up the CUDA core by 10-15%, getting very close to 3090, up the vram to 12 or 16gb.

Sell it below 1k for close to 3090 performance.

3090 is the rebranded “titan” card which usually have 5-10% performance over the XX80ti but lesser ram and lower value/dollar.

that isnt how ti cards are traditionally though. they are the massive performance boosts that makes 980, 1080 users want to upgrade. 10%-15% is such a small margin

Anybody with experience buying FE cards from Nvidia? Do they ship directly? How long is the delivery time?
