new x70 prices become x80
new x80 prices become x80ti

Dont anyhow leh. 2080 launched at 699 USD...same price as 3080.

From my 18 years of experience most people are just not bright when it comes choosing PC hardware.

Imagine if newbie goes in SLS shops and looking for graphic cards, do you think any of them will ask them to wait for 3000 series? :)

After doing some research and new leaks on the elusive RTX 3070Ti with 16GB of VRAM, I might just wait for the RTX 3070Ti with 16GB.

No doubt RTX 3070 is a huge upgrade still over my GTX 1070, but the VRAM issue is going to get worse when games are just going to get bigger in HD textures. Especially as more games are going to get ported to the PS5 and next gen Xbox. The 8GB VRAM might not cut it if you are gaming on 4k or even the future 8k.

Things are going to be very interesting the next 2-3 months in terms of pricing and availability. And when the next gen consoles are out:)

3080 TI with bigger VRAM is what I would want.

I am patient enough to wait until the holidays.

Definitely not 8k. But 4k with max settings is possible.

But with only 8GB in RTX 3070 4k with max settings in AAA is no longer sufficient especially with games on next gen consoles. At least with 16GB is more breathable. :)

Unless you are getting it ONLY to play current games and not future AAA games.
