Ya... That's the reason i can't really recommend amd if it's only slightly cheaper.. DLSS q at 1440p is a free 20-30% improvement for almost no loss in quality.

Agreed. FSR cannot fight old DLSS, how to fight new one?

FSR 3.1 AA vs DLAA (CNN) vs DLSS Q (CNN)

FSR 3.1 NATIVE AA lose to old DLSS Quality (Preset E)

If you got space in your case it looks like Gigabyte Aorus Master 5090 is even better than water cooled 5090s because it is using metal grease and thermal putty. MSI and Astral liquid cooled versions both 360mm AIO only.

I will give a thumb up also if all these 5090 are readily available at non astronomical price

Really pui chao nua at FSR, useless de. Blurry like siao, the framegen looks like crap.
AMD really CMI.
Can't play these new games with max settings just based on pure rasterization.
Think i will be staying with my uw 1440p oled. If i change to 4k oled, think every year i need to play gpu catch up for new games on 4k unless i scaled down to 1440p..

No worries, if you care about image quality a lot like myself, here's one thing you might want to explore.

Firstly, upscaling isn’t bad if you're willing to go the extra mile and use the latest DLSS DLL modules like I do, games that use outdated DLSS actually can be fixed.

Yesterday, I tried the Mechabreak demo, a game that was released just two days ago. I first enabled DLSS Quality, but the result was blurry with noticeable aliasing, that's when I know the dlss module used in the game is outdated.

To check the DLSS version, I enabled DLSS Indicator and realized that it was using DLSS version 3.1.11 which was made in early 2023, that's extremely outdated but not an uncommon sight.

This is the registry for enabling DLSS Indicator, change 4 to 0 and run again to disable
Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NGXCore]
"ShowDlssIndicator"=dword:00000400

To use a newer dlss module, I use DLSSTweaks wrapper to enable DLSS version 310.2.1 its the latest one at the moment. Then, I enabled the transformer model (preset K) and the difference in image quality and aliasing was drastic.

You can also enable it through Nvidia App, now that they have implemented it there.

Does anyone find GN nowadays trying to create drama more than anything? Don't get me wrong, their technical videos are good, but it feels like they are shifting away.
Becoming more sensationalistic. They should stick to what they are good which is in depth technical stuff.
