Lol I don't even want RGB inside my case, all turn off so ugly GPU or not, doesn't matter. :s13:

Anyway, 5080 with MH Wilds, 4k stutter like crazy and fps fluctuates up/down/left/right, had to go to 1440p to brute force performance.

Edit: is the highest texture causing stuttering cause it renders everything your camera see, all the way into the abyss.
Changed back to high texture, 4k, still ok.
Like that need 5090 then can play at 4k?

They cant fix it, RE engine is capcom's own engine, only they know about it and the game has been this way since last year.
I played the multiplayer beta on 9800X3D and 4090 4K it was fine. I thought it was odd a game that looks like this has lower fps than usual and I didn't have any stutters or frame pacing issues.

I never knew there were performance issues until people started posting about it when the beta ended.

I'm used to playing high fps 100+ on lower resolutions, that's why I could tell immediately plus i run perf test on various games time to time.

Actually from beta footage last year, they already had artifacts in the textures despite running at 4k, and it looked like the game was running at 20+ fps lol, already a massive red flag from back then :)

But the 9070 at $549... if both 5070 and 9070 sell at the same price, who will buy 9070?
9070 is projected to be about 7900xt performance while 5070 looks to be somewhere between 4070s and 4070ti, so the amd card is faster in raster and packs more vram for the same price. 9070 sales likely to be cannibalised by 9070xt though.
I don't think so.

RTX4080 and 7900XTX was similarly priced. Now all 4080s are out of stock and you can still get a brand new 7900XTX for $1300 local. People make their choices, AMD has to be faster and significantly cheaper for people to switch.
just that the 9070xt is supposed to be much cheaper than the 5070ti, 20% cheaper if u compare us msrp, and we have seen how pricing really turned out for the 5070ti. 9070 series stock has reportedly been building since jan, so supply should be ample to ward off insane scalping we have seen with the 50 series. 7900xtx never held that kind of pricing advantage over the 4080s when both were still readily available. then again, as ignies mentioned, we dont know local pricing yet, maybe distro apply big markup to take advantage of the excitement but kills it in the process :s22:

i do feel amd did not fully capitalise on this opportunity though, 20% discount may be enough to sway buyers that are open to either brand but to convert nvidia fans, they need to cut the price by another us$50-100.

Tech yard prices for 5090s have fallen across the board, Zotac's cheapest model is back down to $4699. Looks like the rumors of Nvidia stock coming in might have helped temper prices a little.

I suggest putting off buying until mid till later part of the year.

All inflated due to availability. And we can see prices coming down once resellers need to price with their competitors down.

Once newegg and amazon got stock at reasonable prices, expect local prices to fall further. Just not sure if it'd ever go below 4k with another 10% tariffs hitting soon.

Newegg not available price is meaningless.

See all these cards on Newegg at MSRP on launch day? They weren't at these prices earlier in the day before they sold out.
