1) making online payment to my OCBC 365 credit card. Does this consider as [Pay any 3 bills online or through GIRO] ?
2) If I got 2x Singtel bills (different account number) to pay, does this consider as 2x bills?
3) making 3x online payment to 3 different citibank credit cards. Does this consider as 3 bills?

1) Yes if you mean paying OCBC 365 credit card via OCBC ibanking
2) Yes
3) Yes if you mean paying via OCBC ibanking

Hi guys, need some advice from everyone.
I have the 360 account, Frank, 365 and a ANZ travel visa.

i wanted to enjoy some perks with the ANZ travel visa earning miles and stuff but im still new to miles and there's plenty to learn. I think miles is better for expense that are say above 1k for 1 time payment?

365 seems better compared to Frank for now. but i love the ATU.
So would like to check if anyone of you juggle between miles and cash back card. handling cashback is definitely easier for me.

For 365 to get 3% on recurring bill on telco. Do i need to activate or do anything to obtain this 3%?

Hi soulev,

To qualify for the 3% cashback for recurring Telco payment, you may wish to complete and submit this document to us http://www.ocbc.com/assets/pdf/Cards/Services/Easi_Pay_Application_Form.pdf

Do note that the 3% is based on attaining a minimum of S$600 in the calendar month.

Thank you.

I made 6 bill payment transactions in the month of Dec15 to qualify for the 360 3 transaction bonus.
However 2 of the transactions got rejected.
I would think that 6-2 = 4 successful transactions would still entitle me to the bonus.
However OCBC hotline informed me that as long as any of my transaction got rejected, my entire bonus is voided. How is that fair to the customer?
Why would a rejected transaction void our other transactions as well?

Guys be aware of this.

In future, I will only make exactly 3 bill payments for ocbc and nothing else in case any get rejected and I lose my bonus. You guys should do the same, limit your monthly transactions in OCBC to 3.

Think you meant 3x pay bill, under what circumstance can pay bill be rejected?

I do not know either. My bill payment got rejected and ocbc voided the entire bonus for me even though i still met the requirements after excluding the rejected bill.

ya. paid all to unique bills. all done online.
i called them, they took out the universal clause, OCBC reserves the right to claw back the bonus etc....

Hi all,

I would like to enquiry the following:

1) Do i qualify for the bill interest if i paid 3 unique bills without signing up for the recurring payment monthly?

2) If i do pay the bills with my ocbc 365 credit card does that counts as only 1 bill or they do count separately?

TIA.

yes, you don't have to sign up for recurring payments as long as you pay the bills via internet banking, not credit card.

so no to your 2nd question. it counts as 0 bill payments, only counts as credit card spend if you pay your bills using credit card

Hi ruiyao,

There is not a need for you to sign up for recurring payment in order to qualify for the Payment Bonus.

To qualify for this bonus, you will have to make at least 3 unique payments by:

• Pay Any Card via OCBC Online/Mobile Banking
Allows you to pay bills of any bank's VISA. MasterCard, American Express or Diners Club via OCBC Online Banking)

• Pay Any Bill via OCBC Online/Mobile Banking
Allows you to pay bills to any billing organizations registered with us

• GIRO
Set up a GIRO arrangements with a billing organisatoin

Payment by your credit card does not entitle you to the Payment Bonus, but if you were to spend a total of S$500 aggregated across all your OCBC Personal Credit Cards, you will qualify for the “Credit Card Spend Bonus”.

Should you have any more questions about this, feel free to drop us a PM.

I'm missing one giro transaction for this month. Any way where I can do a one-time giro transaction? Thanks.
