Ya
Tmr dun do anything
I dont care anymore. I use my own calculator and browser ocbc to calculate average, primarily cos i got alot of fund movement due to company commissioned salary credits
You can refer to this article on how to calculate your average daily balance to earn the Save bonus interest.

Calculating OCBC 360 ADB for 1.5% Save Interest
I guess if I need to auto manage the save bonus interest category as far as possible, the steps could be:

1. set up a bank giro or a standing instruction to always pay $500 to the 360 account on the 1st of each month.

2. Then to observe whether:

2.1. on those days in the coming months whether the 1st of the month falls on a Sunday. If so and Monday is a working day, to put in an extra $500 on any working day in the month and remove this $500 on the next following day (timing is by 9 pm) .

3. When there is a PH on Sat, the extra $500 can be placed into the account on any other working day and removed 2 days later (removal date is to be a working day too)

4. And if there is PH on both Fr and Sat (plus the Sunday), or a Sun, then PH on Monday and Tuesday(or any similar) then there is a 3 days involved.

5. Above requires less discipline, give u more flexibility when to make the adjustments and do away with computation (when account has only salary charged and interest paid transactions).

6. Of course, salaries and interests paid are to be removed on same day.

7. on the months that the 1st of month (monday to sat) is a working day, I am not needing to make a manual intervention.

Hi. Can SRS fund be used to purchase the unit trusts and fulfill the investment bonus for OCBC 360?

This is what I am doing now, BTW, to be safe, I Giro transfer $501, and on the first day of the Month, transfer out what small amount interest credited to the account. Leave 360 account only for this purpose. all other activities like pay online, Paynow and withdraw Money,.. using Saving account instead.

BTW Bonus is in.

The 365 credit card payment is usually due on the last day of the month and deducted from my 360 account via giro (except for Feb; since it's a short month, so due on 1 March). Strangely for this month June, it's due only on 1 July, so need to make adjustments to maintain the ADB.

My 365 credit card statement follows calendar month which makes it easier to track the monthly spend, but giro payment is always due/deducted on 24th or previous business day.

Interesting how yours is due/paid on the last day of the month instead. Does that usually make it easier to manage?

I use an excel to calculate and track the ADB. Don’t have many transactions but it’s still a pain.

Oh, so it's not the same for everyone then. I use my own Excel to calculate and track ADB too. So yours being days before the last day of the month seems easier and 'safer' than mine being last day, as sometimes the due date changes to 1st day of the next month. If I overlook, my ADB calculation will not be accurate for the current month.

Hi. I am keen on this promotion to get the invest bonus interest.

Promo

I checked the t&c for 360 account no mention if such promo is not allowed to get the invest bonus interest. Anyone has any experience using this promo code and get the bonus interest as well?

Also once the 14 day grace period is over after purchasing UT, selling is possible on the same month correct?

Can use the code to get 50% off the sales charges for the purchase of UT and still qualify for the invest bonus interest. Tried and tested ok.

Technically, can sell after 14 days after the purchase is tracked. But I held on longer till early part of the following month so that I have a statement indicating I had the UT investment.

IIRC For UT, minimum amount is $20k right and got some exclusions. Need to make sure buy the UT that qualify.

The bonus interest is for 12 months. Anyone know if this 12 month period is based on whether the month end is after the free look period or if the interest is computed daily from that date?

Haven’t tried to get the bonus interest for Invest category before, does buying UT require some kind of investment account to be opened first?

If you already can login ocbc online or App, just look for eg. 'Apply' and apply for Unit Trust A/c.
