Has anyone checked whether the interest for 360 account has been credited correctly. My account is opened 13th Apr 2014 and I have paid 3 different bills before 30th Apr with this account. However I still only receive the base interest and not the additional interest of 1%?

Hi OCBC, could you kindly advise on this? Thanks.

From the faq: the bonus interest will be credited by the 7th business day (excluding Saturday and Sunday) of the following month.

Hi OCBC,

When i check with my insurance agent (Prudential) he say cannot use OCBC to pay, his company will reject and thus i need to pay penalty if giro doesn't go thru. Saying OCBC co-partner is Great Eastern (another Insurance company) thats why cannot use Credit Card to pay thru OCBC as well. Will bounce payment. Is that true??

Prudential only accepts cards from certain banks - those that are specified on the form i.e. DBS, SC, UOB, Citi, Maybank.

I cut and paste from T&C
Your spending on these cards do not qualify for this bonus :
• Debit cards
• ATM cards
• Corporate cards
• Business cards
• Private label cards

bros, please check whether your OCBC credit card(s) in wallet qualify for the bonus interest.

I read earlier the OCBC rep confirm Frank Card is eligible. Anyone knows if Robinsons - OCBC card is also ok?

Retails spending dun count for "bill" payment. I called and also reconfirmed at their counter.... So must be retails eg NTUC purchase, etc

how about paying bills at M1 website, singtel website etc? not counted?

retail spending only include brick and mortar shops and online spending eg buying stuff online, paypal payment?

paying hospital bills also counted as retail spending right?

sup card counted towards the $400 retail spending? i saw this from the terms and conditions:

Transactions charged by the Supplementary Credit Card will be aggregated and consolidated under the Principal Credit Card.

Back in 22 Apr 2014, OCBC's Greg replied saying Yes to accepting singtel, M1 bill using credit card... he added that "as long as the biller is able to accept credit cards as a mode of payment, payments to these billers will count towards fulfilling the criteria for the credit card spend bonus interest." Check their reply on 22 Apr 2014 on this forum.

Thanks, I am really confused cos I was told different things by the officer over the hotline that only retail transactions can be counted, not Telco bills paid over at the merchant website or OCBC ibanking.

Based on their document (www . ocbc.com/assets/pdf/Accounts/ocbc-360-account-faq-27-3-2014 . pdf) under point 15, they already specify what transaction are excluded from this 1% bonus. In it, there isn't anything that says paying of Singtel/M1, etc bill is excluded.

Hi, thanks for the replies.

I have a few more queries with regards to $400 retail transaction criteria.:

1)***** M1 bill, singtel bill all counted if I pay them using my OCBC credit card at the merchant website?
2)***** How about recurring town council bills, does it count towards the $400 retail transaction, instead of ‘pay any bill’ payment bonus interest criteria, under giro payment.
3)***** SP bills paid at SP counters?
4)***** Ez link reload, if I link it to my frank card?
5)***** Paypal, hotel and airline booking?
6)***** Bills paid at the hospital?

Also, can Frank sup card be counted towards the $400 retail transaction, I’m the principal card holder and OCBC 360 primary account holder. The sup card belongs to my sibling.

any spend will be counted la.. ocbc website say WHAT IS NOT COUNTED:

Code:
These transactions do not qualify for this bonus:

Balance transfers
Cash advance
Cashwise
Paylite
Smartchange
Fund transfers
Fees and charges
If you have Cashflo or Installment Payment Plan purchases, only the monthly installment amount will qualify.

Any transaction 1) on credit cards that are terminated at any time and 2) that is subsequently cancelled, reversed or made void, will not qualify.
