Hi, if I do a FAST transfer on 2 Jan 2016 (sat), will the value date be on Saturday (2 Jan 16) or Monday (4 Jan 16)? Since 1st Jan is public holiday, when would be a good time to maximize the interest for incremental balances?

Regards.

hahaha 2 Jan is Saturday, a bank working day, so FAST value date will be same day if done before cutoff time hahaha

I had a feeling that saturday was the right date but no confirmation from CSO. Also, how do you find out the cut-off time for saturday (weekend working bank day for ocbc?)

2 Jan, Sat, FAST shld be value same day.

More interesting is FAST on 1 Jan, (Fri & PH), when $ can be credited in the payee account ?
If processed as FAST on 2 Jan before cut off, then value date shld be 2 Jan.
If processed in other ways or after Sat cut off, then value date wld be later ...
Personal experience: FAST out of OCBC on Sun after 930pm, $ only credited to payee after 3 days !

So, the only date which I can transfer funds and have it reflected on the same day would be on 31 Dec? Since 1,2,3 are PH and weekends?

Transfer on 31 Dec before night time, value date 31 dec

Transfer on 1 Jan value date 2 Jan

Transfer on 2 Jan before night time value date 2 Jan

Transfer on 3 Jan, value date 4 Jan

I thought funds should be in immediately? Just that the value date later?

So, it is either u lose 1 day on the previous month ADB (do on 31 Dec) or 1 day on the next month incremental ADB (do on 1 or 2 Jan).

Since transfer on 1 Jan will give us value date 2 Jan, and transfer on 2 Jan (before cutoff time) also give us value date 2 Jan. If cut-off point not confirmed, isn't it more safe to do the transfer on 1 Jan?

Do it before 9pm should be quite safe

Hi all,

Our Electronic Banking services are available 24x7. You would be able to perform your eBanking transaction anytime of the day at your own convenience.

However, for transactions to have the same value and transaction date (except Sundays and PHs), we would advise you to perform your transaction before 2155hr.

Our system daily switching would usually start after 2155hr.

We are unable to advise the actual cut-off time as the system takes time to switch, and there may be differences in timing for each eBanking system.

Why does your system daily switching start after 2155hr? It is understandable if it starts after 2355hr toward end of day, which is industry practice. I feel cheated two hours, denied of banking service by your switching timing.

Hi OCBC

I signed up for OCBC MAXGROWTH PLUS insurance last September 2015 which have NTUC vouchers as part of the promotion. According to OCBC Personal Financial Consultant who offered me the NTUC Vouchers will be emailed to my address but till now I have not received it. Would you able to advise on how can I check/follow-up.

Hi xedga1,

Do drop us a PM with your contact details. We will look into the matter, and will arrange for a call to you to further assist.

I'd like to know more on the followings
1) making online payment to my OCBC 365 credit card. Does this consider as [Pay any 3 bills online or through GIRO] ?
2) If I got 2x Singtel bills (different account number) to pay, does this consider as 2x bills?
3) making 3x online payment to 3 different citibank credit cards. Does this consider as 3 bills?
