From the link:
I didn't see any upgrade. all the spce are the same except the screen size has been reduced.

Ahead of the CES 2012, Asus have released details of the replacement for the Eee PC 1215B; it is the 1225B that comes with a few upgrades on the previous model, as well as plenty of choices for the buyer to make in the processor, graphics card, memory and storage sections.

Asus have also added some colour choices too, as this machine comes in a matte finish with a choice of Grey, Red and Silver or for the Glossy finish, there is just Black or White to choose from. The new Eee PC 1225B has a neat 11.6 inch LED Back light WXGA Screen with a 1366 x 768 of pixel resolutions and it comes with a built in 0.3 mega pixel web camera.
*** 1215B has 12 inch display with same resolution.***

It is going to be powered by either the AMD Fusion APU E450 1.65 GHz (dual core) or the C60 1.0 GHz (dual core) Processors (*** Current 1215B use E450 ***) and the graphics will be coming from either the AMD Radeon HD 6320 or the AMD Radeon HD 6290 graphics cards. The is plenty of DDR3 RAM with 1 x On Board Memory of 2 GB or 4 GB and there is a wide of storage options too from 320 GB, 500 GB and the 750 GB hard disk drive (HDD). Networking is covered by the normal WLAN 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz and there the option to choose Bluetooth V3.0+HS should the buyer require it.
*** Earlier Batch E1215B use 500GB HDD, latest one use 320GB for HDD noise reduction ***

Connectivity features include the VGA Connector, a standard USB 2.0, 2 x superfast USB 3.0, LAN RJ-45, HDMI out, Audio Jack (Headphone/Mic-In) and a Card Reader for SD, SDHC, SDXC and MMC’s. Asus have gone for a 6 Cell 56Wh Li-ion battery that they claim is good for up to seven hours of use, while running the Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium operating system. Finally the dimensions of this machines are 296 mm x 200 mm x 28 to 35 mm (W x D x H) and it weighs in a manageable 1.44 Kgs (with the 6 cell battery installed).

Unfortunately, there are no prices for this machine at this time.

rather go for 1215B... 12" screen 500GB HDD...

the overall size is nearer to a laptop and the keyboard spacing is more comfortable compared to smaller sizes like 11 or 11.6 or 11.1

frankly speaking so far I have no issues with the netbook at all...not even the so-called HDD issues...

did you upgrade the AMD graphic to the latest patch? if not pls download from AMD website...

most probably is a graphical issue..

back then when I first got this laptop, I always have an issues with white lines appearing across my screen and it turned out to be an outdated AMD graphic patch

can elaborate a bit more on what issues you are having?

But do take note that the boot up timing for windows 7 is 45 secs longer than Windows XP but its about 20secs faster than Windows Vista

You can google "improve windows 7 boot time" and there are many articles teaching you how to improve the start up timing

Go to AMD Support & Drivers

on the top right hand corner of the page, choose accordingly:
- Component category: Notebook graphics
- Product Line: E-series GPU
- Product model: E-450 / E-350
- Operating system: Windows 7 64bits

click enter, and you will be directed to another page.

Download the latest package for both Catalyst Software Suite and AMD Catalyst Application Profiles.

on the installation step, you may need to search for past posts made by "techidiot". I already forgotten how. cuz right now, my 1215B is on auto installation mode. so, whenever there are new patches, it will auto download and install.
