Just completed setting my new Padfone S. I migrated over from a Zenfone 5 (2gb/8gb) model. Here are some of the points I observed:

- There is no 'clean memory' function any more. A useful feature that helps to free up memory
- Uses virtual home keys, unlike the capacitive ones on my Zenfone 5
- Very snappy performance overall
- Works well with my 64GB Samsung micro SD card

I must say the changeover is quite painless. I bought the padfone more for its Snapdragon 801 processor and its wireless charging function. Its a device that I see myself feeling happy with for the next one year or so.

I'm also very impressed with the speed of this phone. Coming from a Redmi Note and a Nexus 4, I thought those phones were already smooth. The Padfone S is smooth and fast!

Unless it breaks down, I don't see myself getting another phone anytime soon.

Quited satisfied with the phone. Coming from a user of xiaomi. Feels smooth, just a little getting use to the interface needed to be done, overall no other hiccups.

You can do a search on qoo10 for the padfone S tempered glass screen protector. I ordered one and should be receiving it either today or tomorrow. It cost less than $10.

I can't really tell the battery consumption yet as I need to run it through the day fully. A good half of today was spent on updating the firmware and customising it to my usage. I will post my battery consumption result after a few days of use.

You can create your profile there so that when you click it you will open a contact entry containing your details...

I am testing out my wireless charger now. Interestingly, I have to place the phone upside down on the stand before it can start charging. Anyone tried their chargers?

You can actually adjust the height of the wireless charger so you can put the phone normally.

My owner profile was also imported automatically when I synced my Google contacts, so not sure how to do it manually. I think you need to add somewhere in the contacts.
