I was informed that because they are newly launched, platform like Foodpanda apps or even Gmail cannot received OTP or message saying number not recognized.

$8 for 8gb is the most value for money plan now....

if your existing no is under contract.. grab the $8 plan with new no before end of this month and port in later.

https://changimobile.com/FAQ/mvnoTransferring_en_US.htmlWhen can I choose to transfer a number to Changi Mobile? You can submit your port-in request during plan sign-up. If you are not ready, you can also submit a request in Changi Go mobile app any time after you have started using Changi Mobile’s mobile services.

(1) Where does it say on the website that the "$8 forever" price lasts only until 31 Oct 2021? I can't find it :p

(2) If you're still under contract, does that mean you can just sign up for a new (temporary) number with the Changi Mobile plan first, then later transfer your main no. over from the other telco to replace the temporary number, without any further change of SIM card?

There's the $18 usual price in brackets there. I don't know about this $8 one as previously not eligible. But in their FB page, I did see the end-October deadline for the Best $15 plan.
