Quote from MDA DTV Label Mark Usage Licence:
"All DVB-T2 equipment sold in Singapore must register with the Infocomm Development Authority’s (IDA’s) Enhanced Simplified Equipment Registration Scheme and comply with the Technical Specification for Integrated Receiver Decoder (IRD) as set out by IDA and MDA."
Great. I emailed them on TBS6285 and they replied not conform to v1.3.1.

This is the label alright, but TBS6281 is not listed in the MDA website. Scroll through the whole list, if you like, to confirm what I said.Huh? What do u mean not listed? Isn't it this one on the MDA website?

If TBS6285 is unable to tune to MediaCorp DVB-T2 signals, I don't see how TBS6281 can receive them. Both products' drivers were updated at the same time.Yah I have the TBS6285, not able to tune to MediaCorp DVB-T2 signals. Currently using it to tune to StarHub's DVB-C channels.![]()

TBS Releases New Drivers for TBS6285 and TBS6281 TV Tuners

MDA don't test tuners. Applicants submit forms with test reports from approved test centres certifying conformance to SG standard. The list is for those who want a peace of mind. There is no law to force any one to buy MDA approved products, but there is law for Singapore company who wish to sell DVB-T2 equipment locally to have the equipment certified.MDA can't possibly test all DVB-T2 tuners. The list is for those who wish to die die also follow law to buy MDA-recommended tuners.
