During data release no time to read but hear. I listen to Bloomberg TV. The green and red candles will shoot up and down like Jedi and Sith light sabers!

Also when FIFO you must use M1 Chart. The first 2 minutes are very chaotic. Positive or negative data does not matter. Your mouse trigger action must be quick enough to catch LONG or SHORT. Same like fragging in online shooting games.

Most important thing to note when FIFOing during data release is 见好就收!

That is because the effort and time being spent is much much way lesser which yield decent risk to reward ratio; not to mention about opening buy/sell position simultaneously...

There is always a risk but the rewards are very satisfying most of the time.

Last year there was one time during a FOMC announcement I FIFO and earn 300+ pips in about 30min. Really crazy night!

There are always risks. Cannot be every Sunday win. Sometimes I have positions kena stuck also.
