when i see those flaunting their H belt in office attire, they seem to have this kinda magical aura that says 'satki boh, H buckle big big let u all see'

its getting too common that it loss its exclusively..singaporeans are richie rich..:s13:

But I got the H belt not because of that H to show off.
But because it looked real classic. And that was not the only item I owned from Hermes.
I've got their bracelet CDG, their H belt, their perfum and their polo shirts.
Next items that I'm gonna add is the clic clac bracelet. :)

But got to admit also lah, because of the pretige brand, so which is why I sway towards the brand.
And if the brand is prestige but design looked sucky and ugly, even it is so atas, I also won't buy.
I don't buy branded cause of the name but because of the design I really love and looked well and fit my daily usage wear.
But have to say, their items really nice and classy. Very simplistic design and yet looking great.

To compare LV and Hermes belt, I preferred the H belt, not because it is hermes or cause of the buckle, but cause the leather is simply comfy to wear on. Whereas the LV initales one kinda stiff when I wear it around my waist. Like got cardboard around my waist, I think cause of the texture ba.

I have to agree with this (although I don't think many people would care) about Hermès leather. Most of the LV belts are rather stiff, the truly "soft" ones I know are the fabric, aka "shoulder strap" belts.

are hermes belts reversible?

yes the belts itself usually comes in 2 colour schemes, one side is usually the standard togo brown or black and the other side in brighter/striking colour schemes.

what abt the matt plain H buckle?

is there any sizing for it?

big or small maybe?

theres 2 sizes i think, one the standard usual ones you see and the other a super duper large version. :D

Hi peeps. I am going to Europe next week. Just wondering what kind of Hermes belt am i expecting there.

Noticed that there are lots of different kinds of H buckle designs. Just a few questions;

1.) Does anyone has photos that shows the different designs (If can those ava in Europe) ?

2.) The belt itself is quite standard right ? (Reversible with 2 colors?)

3.) What designs can I expect in Europe (As the offical website does not show much about the H designed buckle)

4.) How much does a belt cost there?

Thank for the kind help.

hmmm here are the ans to chiu questions to the best of moi knowledge, other pros prease feel free to correct me if im wrong.

1.) Does anyone has photos that shows the different designs (If can those ava in Europe) ?

quite hard coze noone really ever tks pics of the belts on display in their stores in EU.

2.) The belt itself is quite standard right ? (Reversible with 2 colors?)

yeap, standard ones are usually togo leather and ish reversible.

3.) What designs can I expect in Europe (As the offical website does not show much about the H designed buckle)

quite hard to search thou, but most "H" designs are available in EU, the hardest thing you should worry about is getting the size and colours you want or its not available and sold out entirely.

4.) How much does a belt cost there?

you save abt on ave. 20% after VAT rebates.

something for chiu "H" belt fans out there... LINK

I noticed there is this dark shadow on my Guillochee buckle when i was in Taiwan last week.. The shadow was on the "diamond craving" at the inner corner of the "H" buckle and no matter how i clean it, it just doesnt come off.. I thought it was dirt or what.. But when i got back the SG, i still can see the shadow but it wasnt very noticeable as compared to when I was in Taiwan.. But the shadow can still be seen under yellow light.. Why ah??? I went moody when i couldnt get rid of it..
