Your classmates dunno is really rich people or they anyhow smoke one issit? Lol. Very weird strata of society where no one is poor on your circle of friends/classmates

Sent from Sony E6533 using GAGT

not all obviously

in every cohort there will be both ends of spectrum + majority in the middle. Like bell curve.

Those who invest belong to middle class at least.

I also have friends who are having loans to pay off too. But this is investment chat what :s22:

Starhub cut dividends more than I expected. My prediction was 4.5 cents. Really GG. The last bastion of hope lies with Singtel next Thursday morning. I am expecting a weaker set of results from Singtel too. Hoping its overseas subsidiaries can help to buffer its performance.

not all students drink starbucks is yolo la haha

many uni students nowadays work or give tuition, so every month maybe have 1-2k on average. students nowadays also investment savvy, each month maybe 100-1k dividends on average, depending on portfolio size.

not surprising to find students with 5 digit portfolio nowadays, quite common

5 digit aka 10,000 portfolio very common for all investors ma. No 10k how to start investing? :s11:

i do have classmates who are investing pretty big, in the range of high 5 figures to low 6 digits? Most got their initial capital from tuition/NS/angpow, plus maybe a little family top up here and there. Crimsontactics from edmw also have 6 figures at 25 anyway.

i've heard some getting 300-400 dividends on average per month, so at a 5% yield, their portfolio also close to 100k anyway :s22:

you yourself also doing decently what, 30k-40k?

wah, your classmates all quite rich uh. Investments of high 5 figures to low 6 figures.

I think mostly from parents eh? How to assemble that kind of money while giving tuition or NS?

Outlook for FY2017
Based on the current outlook, we expect our Group’s 2017 service revenue to be at
about 2016’s level and Group EBITDA margin to be between 26% to 28% of service
revenue. In 2017, CAPEX payment is expected to be at about 13% of total revenue,
excluding new spectrum payments. We intend to pay a quarterly cash dividend of 4
cents per ordinary share for FY2017.
