Im more concerned if there's no dividend/ or very bank-like dividend given, rather than price falling. Haha. That's just me.

REITs are required by law to pay out 90% of their net income. They also have a maximum allowable gearing ratio of 45% (I'll ignore the differences b/w trusts and REITs). Hence they often have to do preferential offers, rights issues, etc to raise money.

Really have to vent this out......nowadays, really a lot of siao langs, hypocrites, and e-peens everywhere.....shall stick to this thread for the time being, same as ML :(

So better to look at the last row for a sense of portfolio performance is it?

Daily movement is noise. Yearly movement exclude noise.

I once read somewhere that if you can't sleep well at night thinking of your stock portfolio, then you have taken too much risk.

I sleep very well every night one. But sometimes I scared I lose out on some bargains nia

That's the problem with small capital. My advice is to work hard, find good job and save up on capital.

It took me some time but I finally managed to save respectable warchest to deploy this year :s13::s13::s13:
