Capital mall spread all over singapore leh. Not just west nia.

FCT for the north (causeway point and north point)

CMT for the west (westgate,imm,jcube)

MCT for the middle (Vivo city)

east side seems very competitive... or which reit is more dominating there?

I see.. Guess that's a minus to buy shares with cash upfront account. :(
You can't attend AGM with that

yup.... i mentioned that many times in the past liao

put in CDP, can get hard copy annual reports... can go AGM...

AGM is very very good, u get many insights to the company that the public does not know... u also get a very strong feel of the management team for good or for bad

After I attended ARA's AGM 2015, i felt that the company was so good... from 20k shares I built up to 60k shares before attending its 2nd agm in 2016... really super good company and super good management... too bad they going private... but I made 20k net profits on ARA so i not complaining haha

after attending keppel corp agm in 2015 I know the management team was rubbish, they could not answer most questions and were like lost ducks
2 days after the AGM I quickly sold off my 2000 KC... which I bought at $8 and sold off around $8.80... booking a gain instead of a major loss... now like $6 nia...

in 2016 CCT fell from 1.70 to 1.20... everyone was saying office reits sure crash and dpu sure drop a lot... but I attended the AGM in which the ceo presented well... they already renewed leases ahead of the major over supply and will be acquiring capital green with debt... so instead of DPU going down... DPU was gonna go UP!!! I bought more CCT... bring it as much as 30k shares and made profits too ^_^ Now I am still holding 15,000 CCT and waiting for next AGM to praise the CEO

a stock is not only just numbers and figures... its a business run by real people

never forget this...

and yet some people can invest like 50k or 100k into a company that they have never even met the people running it? does it make senses to you?

for me... I have around 20-30k vested on each of my 12 companies... I do not invest in too many companies... but those I consider my core long term positions.. I will surely attend their AGM to see how management presents their full year results and 2017 outlook to us shareholders... also most importantly is the Q&A sessions which tough questions are asked, either you feel more confident after the answer or you know management is in deep sh it hahahahaha

And that is where university degree/masters students failed to learn previously. It's part of survival skills in working world. :D
