Will definitely ballot for the Old airport bto, even though I got queue number for nov bedok bto lol

So you are giving up your bedok to risk for geylang which you might not even get a number?

The Geylang plot quite good.

Near CCL Dakota, near EWL Paya Lebar.
When paya lebar airspace cleared, think there will be filled with condos....

My bedok number not even good to begin with. 800 out of 700+ so should be able to choose flat unless really suay or hit racial quota.

Hi all, if I got a number 14X for nov sbf for bukit merah 4 room with estimated selection date with hdb in April, can I still go ahead and apply for Feb 17 BTO? I understand this is doable because I have yet to officially select a flat. Can anyone confirm this?

2nd scenario - if I do ballot for Feb 17 BTO and I get a number, can I still go ahead to ballot for May 17 BTO on condition that I have yet to choose a unit from the 2 previous exercises (i.e. Nov sbf and Feb BTO). I think cannot apply 3 times right? I know this scenario quite impossible (cos estimated hdb selection appt from nov sbf is in April but just curious, what if this April date is delayed)

Last scenario is if I give up my nov sbf (don't choose any unit when invited), am I still considered first timer if I apply for May 17 BTO? Hdb website says u must have rejected 2 times in a year when invited in order to be considered a second timer

Yes as long as you have not select a flat.

thats only applies if your Feb 17 appointment date is after May 17. You can apply infinite number of time as long as you did not select a flat, but you will be labelled as second timer after 2 rejections of invitation (lesser balloting chance)

Yes. First timer if u applied for Nov sbf for first time as first timer.

Anyone can advise on the likelihood of the highlighted areas 1,2,3 being developed into high-rise buildings in the future for the Yishun BTO?

Also, for the Bidadari BTO, south ones can see lake ornot?

plot 1 seems to be a protected area, i believe is unlikely, while 3 seems like reserved for park.

Plot 2 would have something, I am sure. The size is right. 1 and 3 doubt so, barring major redevelopments

Er actually part of 3 will be developed into high rise buildings. I think will not be able to get unblocked view of reservoir.

You should go check URA master plan for yourself.

There's this piece of land opposite 366 Yishun Ring Road along Yishun street 31 & Yishun ave 6 being planned for residential purpose as stated in URA, by any chance anyone knows when HDB will announce BTO in this area ? :look:

Praying hard that they will announce this area after the May 17 BTO exercise :s22:

Thx for da input guys, it seems like the Yishun plot is not an ideal place for long term forest views... :(
Considering Bidadari for park views if Punggol ones fails :spin:

After an intensive research using tools from URA development website and Google I guess there won't be any new BTO coming up there as nearby BTOs was developed in 2010 and 2011 :look:

I guess HDB have moved on to the forested area near GEMS World Academy and chances of going back to a developed area to build new BTO is very slim :(

There's actually construction works going around the big plot of land that made me happy for awhile, thought it was HDB site clearance for new BTO but it's just sewage maintainance aiyo. Also there's been road upgrades along avenue 8 that was completed last year.

Not much choices left in Yishun omg!!

I feel that this May BTO worth considering is only Bidadri and Woodlands only, if I have to consider.

The reason for Woodlands is because, the next plot that the govt will invest heavily to develop is Woodlands. Exciting stuffs coming up. Yishun is a little forsaken. Bidadri, needless to say. Anything there is premium. But wouldn't be my first choice as it could be noisy.

Geylang? hell no. If I have a humsup hubby, he will come home a happy man everyday.
stay jurong, not handsome, can also go geylang be happy man everyday :s13:
