I think u should have chance, cos if the drop out rate is about 30% (read some where), ur Q w be "upgraded" to abt 62.

I dont think people in front queue will give up such good chance at a mature estate. I suspect the 30% dropout rate comes from the end tail where it left those low level apartments or those at jalan tenteram.

Like the Nov SOBF, the remaining two flats at tenteram drag on till 12x....

Hi new here. Kallang/Whampoa 88/81. Got chance? and I'm a Malay btw.

hard to say, but drop out rate in general is quite high so dont give up so soon. however, getting your choice unit might not be likely.

also depends on the other races in the block.
example, if the other 87 people before you are of other races and they already reach their ethic quota, they will not be able to select already.

There are some who ballot many times and have just booked their units from the earlier launch. Some went for 100 palms, some give up for personal reasons. Must stay positive and hope for the best.

I feel this batch of SBF for K/W have quite good units cos only few units are on low floor. Seems like my 5X/81 looks "good" so far, but I only short listed about 15 units. Hope those before me have different taste so that my chosen ones w still be available when its my turn. Can't wait for Sept to come. Everyday have to log in and check. Keeping my fingers crossed and praying super hard.

Only can confirm "LUCKY" when I got my choice unit. The SMS said appointment w be in Sept and read some where in the forum that they will only notify you 2 weeks before the appointment date. So likely end Aug will then rec the appt date.

no point...you can apply closer to your appointment date to maximise the duration

I applied in SBF Nov 2016 last time, they said selection exercise was "scheduled to start in April". So the last week of March, think was 27 March, I logged in to check and the appt details was already there. & the Selection Exercise started in 7 April for my area.

So I suggest that when appt details is out, you can apply for HLE already. Mine took abt a wk for the HLE results. Cos it will expire in 6 mths. So no point applying too early.

Yes I can't wait for the appointment date to be out soon! Sorry I'm not very sure bout this cause my combined income with my bf is alr >5k and we can't qualify for any of the grants so I didn't bother reading up more on it! Call hdb to check?
