just a quick question if anyone could help me out on this. Do 2nd timer applicants be considered if they qualify for the priority schemes under HDB , having the same chance as a 1st timer with priority scheme? So correct me if i am wrong. The order of selection for flats by ballot:
1) 1st timer with Priority scheme 30%-50 % units allocated
2) 2nd timer with Priority scheme 30%-50 % units allocated
3) 1st timer with no scheme balloting with 2 chance for the (remaining minus 5%) units available
4) 2nd timer with no scheme balloting with 1 chance for the (5%) units available
btw i am referencing for 4-Room SBF
Thanks!
2nd timer doesnt have alot of priority they can apply but they do have some and they are not the same as 1st timer
here is a quick summary of each priority schemes
PPS - 1st timer only, 30% of BTO units and 50% of SBF
MGPS - need Parents to submit also
MCPS - 1st timer 30% of BTO/ SBF units
- 2nd timer 15% of BTO units, 3% of SBF units
TCPS - 5% of BTO/ SBF units
ASSIST - divorce/ separation only
*** - must live in a flat rented
SPS - elderly parent
anyway. i think the priority schemes are all balloted together first. and then followed by whatever that is leftover for 1st timer quota and 2nd timer quota
