Hello.. according to the HDB:

If you missed the appointment date/time
The available sessions that HDB can serve you are as follows:-
(i) 12.00 pm, if you turn up in the morning (Mon - Fri); or
(ii) 4.00 pm, if you turn up in the afternoon (Mon - Fri).

It happened to me too on my date of selection which is at 3pm. Supposed to have only 5 queue numbers on that day, yet 6 units was selected. I am supposed to be the 4th couple to select, yet before me, already 4 couples selected (Because of this, my desired unit was selected when I am on my way there.. T__T).

I checked and confirmed with the officer who served me. There is a couple who missed their date of selection who came at 12pm to select. This will not be reflected in the total of queue number on the day itself as it is unforeseen. And also, the total number of queue number is refreshed once only every early morning. Moreover, there are 2 time slots for those who missed their date of selection to come back to select. Oh and also note, its not necessary for the couple who missed their queue number or selection on the day itself. It could be a couple who missed their selection a week ago. So it does makes sense Hope its clear to you now ^^

Anybody knows how long will the 2nd appointment (sign agreement) will be up after our first appointment (flat selection) because my option to purchase will expire by next year 2nd Jan...

Option to purchase valid for 3 month only. Thus 2nd appointment is within the 3 months. likely u get it around xmas.

Ahh thank u for the info.

This is what I heard/read from others.
The only reason why it takes 3mths is for grant application/result. As such, if no grant then should be earlier. So far, the earliest I know of was 4-6wks from selection appt.
Also 1 wk before key collection appt, you will receive an SMS notification. you will be able to login and change to an earlier appt date

I selected a 4rm in bukit batok (completed flat) on 1st Nov.. requested for HDB to expedite the key collection for me (super efficient HDB officer helping me along the way), received notification to sign lease agreement and collect keys on 20th November..

Lucky you. Mine, email in, took them 3-4 weeks to reply me "standard template", reply like no reply. I already gave up on ask them to expedite

During the Selection Appt, the officer said that we would be able to collect the keys within the next 3 mths, or 12 wks. I emphasized the word cos I asked again, "after 3 mths"? "around 3 mths"?. The officer said, "Within 3 mths".

The end of 3 mths is exactly 1 Jan 2018 for me. Based on other's experiences, they managed to get their keys abt 6wks after selection. Subjected to whether the keys are ready, whether the applicant has grants, etc. Since it wasnt just 1 special case that I learnt of, I just estimated that I should be able to collect keys by abt 20 Nov (if i count up to 6wks)

I will update here when I get the text.

Yes, Shd hv many leftovers, went site visit the other days, many units r empty. So for those who din make it this round, better luck next round and jia you.

Wow....your 6 weeks date is 1 week before me only....hahaha.....so we shld be receiving the msg together bah
