analogue.

so far mine on fibre entertainment bundle, i always request and remind them(when recontract) i want to remain analogue for tel line

thanks!

I've looked through the recontract (and upgrade to fibre) packages for Singtel and the cheapest is $31.90 for 300mbps unlimited.

However, it seems like i'm forced to select a TV content package... any way to go around this? can I call 1688 and request not to sign for TV package upon recontract/upgrade?

unfortunately it's not available for me to choose when recontract ... ;(

Don't re-contract. Don't go to re-contract page becos they only let you re-contract equiv to your existing plan. Get new contract and choose whatever you want.

There is no promo on their website. Call 1688 to check what promo they having. Or go to Hello store, they may have promo. Recently, I changed to Fibre Home Bundle (from Fibre Entertainment) and I did at ComCentre. I get 2 months free. There is no this promo on their website.

Hey guys! I'm currently using the old Motorola STB ST provided a few years back but kept it inside store and didn't use cos the ADSL connection last time was v bad (if you watch Digital TV you cant surf the net that kinda bad).

Recently I upgraded to fibre and started using the STB. Found out that it is still working fine some times but will lag like crazy some other times. Everything is in perfect condition tho since I nvr use it at all till now. Do you think ST will replace for free if I report the prob to them?

have u done a reset? i'm sure your set top box won't be running the latest firmware version after so many years.

they will only replace when its faulty lor, since its the property of singtel. :D

Nothing's wrong with network cos tested with direct connection to laptop. Reached full speed. But the STB will lag and stutter sometimes.. the netflix "channel" even crashed once when playing a movie lol. Def STB problem

i never say is network issue. i'm just saying its unusual for singtel tv to lag..

as you said, might be a set top box issue, so why not ring them up? its gonna be a replacement if its faulty, sometimes it can be the power brick issue as well.

There's new cheaper TV packages now, like the Family Fun/Lifestyle/Learning, at least better than the Family Starter pack that used to be the cheapest package(not including the pinoy package, tamil package and japan package).. :o

Sent from my Rice phone using GAGT
