Yes last time there was 东森幼幼台 Yoyo TV. No more already.

SingTel TV channels are listed here.
http://singteltv.com.sg/channels-on-demand_channels.html

You can go to YouTube and there are quite some Chinese children video.

Yoyo TV iteself is on YouTube, they actually have free live TV on YouTube.
https://youtu.be/l8ajHGNgC_g

I am paying for Youku VIP and there is a section for Children. With Youku VIP, most of the contents can be accessed here, without ads, without VPN.
https://child.youku.com/

Tencent video and iQiyi have Children section but they need VPN to access even if you pay for VIP.

More info here.

Anyone here know how to configure asus AX88U so singtel tv set top box works on it?

Have decided to junk the crap AC Plus in my living room & get the AX88U instead but I understand its not so straightforward as configuration is needed?

Im using huawei HG8244H ONR if that’s any difference. AX88U will be set as router cos i intend to have an AP elsewhere in my home.

Oh and i have cat 6 ports in all my rooms so im watching singtel tv via cabled connection not wifi if that make a difference. TIA

Since you have an ONR and Ethernet wiring, you should connect your SingTel TV to the ONR port with Ethernet wiring.

AX88U is a bit problematic. You can configure it an AP but then you lose the advance features.

I think you should be okay to use it as an router, just set it at a different IP address range. Say the ONR uses 192.168.1.1, then you can set the AX88U IP as 192.168.2.1. Expert may not like this kind of Double NAT situation though. Connect all your other device to AX88U. No need Vlan configuration in this case.

The ONR is only connected to SingTel TV and AX88U.

If you want to be clean and no double NAT, ask Singtel to configure the ONR as ONT and connect everything to the AX88U, including SingTel TV. You need to configure SingTel Vlan on the AX88U.

U mean i connect singtel tv box to onr instead of my router? I thought only port 1 of onr is enabled? So if i connect singtel tv box where does my router go?

Think i wasnt clear. I intend to use AX88U as router to replace AC Plus. The AP I intend to set up will be a lower end wifi 6 router.

Once my singtel tv contract expires i will not use singtel tv any more so i think no need to ask them to configure onr as ont bah.

What’s wrong with double NAT? Paiseh networking noob here.

You have an ONR, all ports are available for use.

The whole problem of double NAT is because you have an ONR which is a router. You want the AX88U to be a router as well, so you have two routers in the same network and double NAT will occur. Nothing to do with SingTel TV.

Power users will avoid ONR. Read the following thread for more info.

If you just do simple things like browsing the Internet and streaming Netflix/YouTube, double NAT should not be a real issue.

Not much i can do from the looks of it since it appears singtel refuses to set most ppl’s onr as ont.

Not supported.

SingTel TV wireless connection will only support SingTel Mesh solutions, including Netgear Orbi.
https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/broadband/wifimesh

Of the 4 SingTel Mesh solution, I think only Netgear Orbi is good. Avoid Airtie and Askey as they are locked to SingTel. Feedbacks for Samsung Connect Home is also bad.

Today I turned on my singtelTV and it failed to startup. Pressing the controller also doesn't turn on/off the device.

How do I resolve this?

Hi guys, can i check on this setup:

Current setup:
ONT -> ASUS AC86U (Port 4) -> Wireless Home Bridge (Technicolor) --- Wireless Home Bridge -> Singtel TV

Change setup to:
ONT -> ASUS AC86U (Port 4) -> Samsung Connect Home Mesh (Bridge mode) --- Samsung Connect Home -> Singtel TV

Will the new setup work? Is there anything I should look out for? Thanks!!

Multiple Set-top Boxes

Hi guys, how can I connect 2 or more Singtel TV set-up boxes to Asus AC3200 router?

I have tried setting both LAN ports 3 & 4 to VID 20 and PRIO 4 in manual setting but only LAN 4 is able to get the STB to work.

From what I gathered online, I should get a simple ethernet switch with IGMP snooping function, connect it to LAN 4 of AC3200 and subsequently connect all the STB to the switch and they should all work?

Exmaple
TP --> ONT (Alcatel Lucent) --> Asus AC3200 --> Switch --> 2 or more STB

Edit: Factory reset the AC3200 and input all settings again, now LAN 3 & 4 can be used for Singtel TV

Yes that’s right. The manual VLAN should worked as well.

Singtel frequent disconnect when using Airties

Hi,

Would like to seek advise from gurus here. I'm having issue with my Singtel TV recently with the following setup. Singtel recently changed out the pair of Airties to new but the problem persist.

The Singtel TV box and the Airties4920 (Secondary) frequently disconnect when the TV box is connected to the TV or monitor, with the IPTV light on the router in red and the Airties4920 (Secondary) 2.4/5GHZ light turning off.
The funny thing is that when I connect the TV/ monitor directly to the router or Airties (Primary), the connection is very stable.

I thought that it is the Airties but it had since being changed to new. Anyone know if there is anything that is missed out like a config or settings etc?

ONT>>SingtelWiFiGigabitRouterAC1900>> Airties4920 (Primary)
Airties4920 (Secondary)>> Singtel TV box

Thanks everyone for the attention and help!

Not yet, just doing some testing on my existing STB to see if it works before I subscribe to a second STB from Singtel.
