MioHome plan sucks. I cannot watch MioTV when someone else is using same internet connection to watch online video or download big files.

the video lags and there is no sound as the video feed skipped frame. super lag when broadband bandwidth is taken up by computers accessing the internet.

so it would be wise to use fibreoptic internet plans or starhub's cable broadband.

Do Not share your broadband's bandwidth with MioTV or else u cannot do both at same time.

MioTV takes up your broadband bandwidth and slows down ur internet connections if u are watching MioTV and using internet at same time.

u mean u din know about this? It's actually a well-documented problem with having MIO TV on the same telephone line as internet service.

That is why some of us have separate lines for MIO TV and internet. What's the speed of your internet service?

not sure if I am wols but still like to share the promo I saw at TPY hub.

1) $29.90 for combo pack
2) first 6 months 50% off.
3) all activation and nonsense waived.

Is this promo good?

My ADSL mio TV got serious pixelation on all including HD channels. But you don't have ADSL mio TV before fiber.

Currently a subscriber to Singtel Mio Sports via ADSL modem. Fiber has just been installed in my unit.

I'm wondering whether is it possible that I convert from ADSL to Fiber for my mioTV (although I'm not subscribing any internet from Singtel) ? With that, it save me on my quarterly phone line rental.

Anybody has similar experience ?

You can try, but ultimately, fiber is not their own infra and it cost additional, so likely no.

My sports channel contract just expired but i'm still paying $26 for it. Today I notice that my mio modem cant power up, most likely damage already, does anyone know if they will replace my modem for free

I also quite interested to know , but for starhub , they will replace their set for free and need to collect personally from their authorized shop.

As for the sport plan , I had called them on thus latest price increase plan and they told me that singtel will waived off all existing subscribers who had signed up earlier on , pay the same price without the goal tv, now new subscriber will have to pay slightly more but with additional of goal tv
