JX Gold at 39.90? With BPL? Their offer is 64.90 action gold and 200mbps at 49.90 after $20 discount due to the action gold. Total damage is $115/month. Still got those free 2months, $200 mobile voucher....

Hi, i wanna ask if you guys have subtitles on Channel 8 HD and Channel 5 HD?

Mine seems to not appear even though in the settings, the Subtitle is on

Not all Ch 5 programs has Chinese or English subtitles, same applies for Ch 8. Some Taiwanese or China programs also have subtitles already hard coded fr the supplier, hence cannot on/off them.

Is it just me or has the volume on HD5 become softer these days?

Feels much softer to me, because i normally set my tv and STB to the same volume. But it has become softer recently.

For Mio TV , is there a way to extend out to another display from the Mio box ?

Enter the miotv settings page, you might have off-ed the subtitles.. Mine have english. same as the normal coaxial one..

Unless i am missing something, your package looks like the standard promo that they offer to everyone. Do you even need to call in and ask for it?

Isn't JX Gold at $69.90. If you sign up for fiber, you get $20 off from the fiber plan. Should be $49.90

Anyone tried talking to their customer service? I too was paying 30+ then got increase to 60+ and not too happy about it. Managed to talk to 3 different CSO before they said will let me continue to pay 30+ for X months then the subscription will go up to 60+. Still not very happy about, anyone tried any legal way to get them? I think I lost my contract so cannot see the T&C.

He mentions that he is paying $69.90 for 300Mbps. Singtel is selling this plan at $54.95 on their website which means he is paying more for his fibre. So in the end it works out to around the same price as the standard bundle.

no matter how hard u try, the contract is made in such a way that they are protected one

I find the the whole promo/package thing confusing. What is the best deal at the moment for the following:

- Just tv with EPL & CL (will get broadband from VQ)
- Tv (incl. EPL & CL) and fibre broadband

For the latter there is some CNY special at $88, and then top up $64.90 for the rest?

Is Mio now running better/faster than last year, with picture interruptions and other trouble due to running on old tech (phone line)?

There is no need to sign up for broadband. MioTV can run on your phone line.

currently under both ST and SH package...i want to consolidate to ST as i want to watch BPL..however wife watches TVB (855) on SH .....is there any TVB in ST package?
