Saw on their page.
1 Limited to 1 DVR Set-Top Box per Singtel TV account
2 An Early termination Charge of $78 applies if service is terminated within 6 months
3 Not applicable for exPlore Home

Singtel TV Service must be delivered via a Singtel Telephone Line or a Singtel Fibre Service.
Each Set-Top Box requires one (1) Singtel Telephone Line and one (1) Ethernet Modem.
All prices are inclusive of GST.

I am pleasantly surprised today and I am not complaining.

I called 1688 at 4:20pm to report my HD DVR recorded programs freeze and the remote is not responsive. The CSO transferred me to a tech support, who after verifying the problem and having also confirmed I have done the reset thing and problem persisted, scheduled a technician for the 5:00pm slot.

Technician came at 4:45pm with a new HD DVR, spoke on phone to the ST backend to re-configure profile and clear all errors if any. Then he replaced the HD DVR. Problem solved by 5:15pm, all within 1 hour.

How can I not be pleasantly surprised when things are done so fast. And I am no one special.

Sometime I wonder why are others complaining that ST do not want to send technician over and wanted to charge a fee. I wonder whether they are real or made up. I never have problem of ST not sending technician over or wanting to charge a fee, never.

But this is the first time I seen so fast service and problem resolved. Now my HD DVR has the Singtel TV logo, no more the mio TV logo, still same model.

Good experience with singtel tv, but not impressed by their New bundle. The tv program in the starter pack is disappointing, whatever that used to be included are now in jingxuan which is easily another 29.90/mth, together with "premium" additions which is pretty useless.

I have not look at their packs for some time. My Jingxuan gold still has 9 more months to run (from the 2 year contract with free world cup promo).

I just browse the current packs and I have to agree with you. Sadly, they have adopted a screw your wallet approach. Not good and not smart. Seem like another of those familiar "you guys are fools and only we know what is best for you" line of doing things.

:( Their programmes now are really half baked standard.

Over the weekend relative contemplated between SH or ST.

For ST, it is $89.90 per month + TV box rental $4.99. Sadly, the 80 tv channels does not contain what they want, and that extra jungxuan channel pack is $29.90. Alright, top it up with a 5 months free promo, that works out to be $103/mth for a period of 21 months (min upgrade period)

Compared to SH, that was simply $88.80, choose 3 groups + 1 extra group using the $8 voucher giving them all the TV they need, free 6 months sports group, TV box rental at $6.49 and $150 Capitaland voucher. In all I think the choice was clear :(

After 4 years with them, yea 0 downtime, but the price just keep going up. Just a simple tv, messed up big time. I prefer the old mio.

Hopefully when Netflix is available in Singapore next year, Singtel TV can wake up their ideas to improve their contents and pricing...
