anyway, i think we don't DIY cos the base materials are so expensive in singapore. everything's expensive

Not those big DIY. Household and simple DIY like why spend a bomb on something which can be DIY for cheap.

Anyway, I heard the yen is falling, maybe it might be cheaper now?

it's either TBS, or you buy for online sources (and pay for shipping anyway)
Otherwise, cheapest way is to go to Japan yourself and get it from Disneyland.

Depending on the Yen exchange rate. It could cost anywhere between $20-25.

My sis just bought the USS destroyer for my nephew's birthday. I'll say the design's pretty ugly... would have preferred the Tintin Unicorn instead...

Wait till I save up. I still have 8 boxed nanoblocks undone as I cannot find suitable casing to keep them clean from dust. My Himeiji's dangling also, the casing isn't big enough.

Sigh.

Agree. Bought a daiso casing coz the dimensions fit.. but end up the nanoblock base was a tad too big to fit in!

ya, I need one for my tokyo tower too. basically i need casings for my sight to see series and guitars. now they're just collecting dust on my desk.

You may need to get a custom made acrylic casing to fit those big sized models. I'm not sure where to get one done though...

Can use a soft brush or those fluffy electrostatic dusters to clean, just be careful about breaking things.
