Hello potential neighbours, got 3x/372 for 4-Room at Bukit Batok. It may seem like a decent number, but it is actually at the tail end if one is trying to aim for anything other than West Edge. Do the 5-Rooms have the same issue?

Yes I think it's the same for 5 room, most of the units are at West edge area which I will most probably pass

Looking at Punggol Bay view actually. But with such number is hope no units are left for me. Rather not waste my chances. You're really lucky! I'm still a first time but the mcps at my parents area doesn't work for the previous 2 times. :/

Don't give up until the very last min you never know oh~ actually my mum stayed in Sengkang but surprisingly it still consider within 2km from Punggol We actually quite gancheong to get our own place prior our customary early next year but gt 21 units key not ready yet de.. Hope those Q infront us want those keys nt ready yet de bah~

Got sengkang 4 room 29/89. First timer + pps. Not bad but probably can't get the place I want. Only 11 units near sengang mrt the rest are far far away.
Most units in sengkang have completed for more than 1 year and some are repurchased.

Selection in April. Another long wait. Don't know if shd get resale if no more units near Mrt.

Haven't personally did a in-depth study but it seems skyline is very pricey and sky peak is at the industrial area?

Skypeak is near to Bukit Batok MRT station and West Terra as well. Skyline is pricy, did a check on the price and HDB is actually selling it at almost 100k more than their BTO price 4 years ago.

Mats cost and man power cost should be all the same so i dont understand the logic of charging 100k more.

If i am not wrong I think laying the tiles would cost over 10k. You can do the math if you don't have plans to overlay the tiles for the unit nearer to MRT.

Actually selection in April for estates starting with S is super fast already. Normally those estates from S onwards need to wait like more than 6 months, in previous SBF and they normally get their keys like one year later from application date.

If this time flat selection for S is really in April, I would feel very blessed actually.

Hmm i did some research.. for screeding + vinyl would cost around $5000.
I personally wouldn't mind without tiles.. just gathering opinions haha

Yeah my email states selection exercise is expected to start from Apr 2017.
But not sure whether only sembawang starts on april or the rest of the sbf

I think what the letter mean was SBF selection for all areas is to start from April onwards... check the May SBF thread for guesstimation for your appt. Gixx once said it's alphabetically ordered.

Near mrt... you can lay the tiles but you can't move the mrt station.

Apply sengkang 5 room . First timer + pps also but got 5x/44..
Jz hope can have a not so bad unit , if not have to go resale

SBF selection will start in Feb 2017. Someone else earlier in the thread mentioned his/ her appointment was in Mar. Might have remembered wrongly though.

My guess is that this time round they might put SBW somewhere earlier cos there's simply too many units.
