Any kallang/whampoa applicants out there? Heard that the flat selection for kallang/whampoa will commence in May.

Yup me. But i think for sure I won't get a date as my number Went over the flat supply by 300% lol. Now just thinking if me and Husband should wait for May SBF (if any) or just go get resale :s11:

Yah maybe.. but quite torn between kallang/whampoa or Ubi/Bedok.. they're both surprisingly about the same price. How bout you? Got a good number?
Haha. I got a number within 200% but im quite sure i wont get a selection date too. Will probably wait for the coming may's sob and try my luck again.

Hi guys, would you choose a unit whose neighbour has 4 kumantongs? Pardon my ignorance, i'm not well versed in this aspect as i was brought up christian but currently free thinker. My husband is buddhist. Am wondering if the kumantongs will disturb me and my children in future etc. Again, sorry if anyone is offended by this. I really do not know much about them.

Yup, they are middle aged couple and very nice. My only concern is about the kmt.

Then better not if you are concerned... :(:(

Side story: my Malay friend used to have a neighbour who keep such things. One fine day the spirits went to his house to play. Lucky the father well versed in religious matter and managed to control them.

Heh. My husband is not concerned as his father used to keep them when they were younger but end up brought them to the temple to keep as well. Thank you franz ^^

I think u would still be eligible as long as u have previously worked for 12 months, i have also recently resigned from my job, it would be the loan that would be affected

I think loan and grant amount will be affected, with the final amount dependent on how much you are earning in your new job.
