April- CCK, Sembawang, Geylang, +a few more maybe

Toa Payoh starts selection in March and appointment given for 2nd week April already.

Given the huge supply especially for Sembawang (229,887 and 365) for 3,4,5 flats respectively, I don't know how the appointment can keep to schedule, unless hdb has different team to do sbf for different estates.


Can take this time to save up more for the house. Think about other things instead and before we knew it it's time for appointment. Otherwise the wait will be agonizing.

I dunno abt u guys but the waiting is sure stressful. Cos even when u guys say that the selection areas are done alphabetically, CCK has yet to come up in the 'Flats for Selection' page.

My number is 4X out of 96 for 4rm in CCK. And HDB just gave the template answer of selection starts in April 2017.

It could be they are letting areas with more completed units go first.. Just checked Pasir Ris and Queenstown quite a few blocks with keys ready

SBF this time round is different. It is not by alphabetical order like past SBFs anymore. No way that S is ahead of J or P. They are using a different method this time. Neither is it going by Mature followed by Non-Mature.

Hey there, by not invited you mean your queue number exceeded the total number of units available?

Depends if you have applied previously and didn't turn up for appointment before. You no-show twice for appointment then you will be relegated to second-timer for a year.

If this is your first application, then you can definitely apply again. But i doubt there will be an SBF in May. Plus they are in the midst of implementing a new sales method (was pasted twice in earlier posts in this thread) so not too sure if they will retain the same months for the usual SBF launches.

Yes u can still apply but Hdb is going to restructure the sobf application. So not sure hdb will launch may sobf.

If only you two can plan your travels to be in this month. It's safe call now.
After selection of flat, still have to wait for 2nd appointment to sign lease agreement, etc. Then after getting the keys, you only have 7 days to inspect the flat for defects.

You need to assign someone (like your power of attorney) to select the flat on your behalf.

There is an authorization form to fill and you need to submit it to HDB.
