Sobf units all come with closed kitchen concept right? Even if previous owner opt for open concept and gave up right?

I think i read it somewhere before hmm.

I would love to know too. And what about floorings?

I read different remarks on this. Some says it all comes with closed kitchen concept, etc. Some says otherwise, i.e. it depends on previous owner if they have opt for the optional component scheme.

Not sure which is true. If it's the latter, how do we know which unit has the ops or not?

For floorings, if no previous owner, then no tiles. If there was a previous owner, also need to see whether the owner opt for flooring or not.

Yeah i also read somewhere that all sbf will come with ocs, internal doors and closed kitchen concept regardless of whether got previous owner or not.

But i read on someone's blog..
"unless that particular unit had been chosen by someone and given up eventually before, all the units would come with compulsory internal doors, full kitchen and toilets tiles, sanitary fittings and a “closed concept” kitchen"

Means if previously the owner chose open concept kitchen, then when hdb hand it to me, they will also leave it as open concept ah? :s11:

hey guys, do you guys know what arethe list of documents to bring for flat selection? Just saw my appointment date after logging in to hdb page but letter not out yet. I won't be in SG and dear mum will be selecting on my behalf.

Would appreciate if those got letter already can share, otherwise no choice have to call HDB or friend and ask.

Prepared:

1) HDB Authorisation Form. Signed off.

2) Last 12 months CPF contribution.

3) Up to last 8 months salary pay slip.

4) IRAS Income Statement for 2016

5) Photocopy of NRIC (Front & Back)

Did I missed out anything?

FYI:

Estate: Geylang
Appointment Time: 5th May 2017
Queue: 1X/23 (after #15)

I guess they are squeezing estates with small number of flats in between those estates with huge supply. CCK started already and SBW soon. Maybe 1 week 5 days, 1 day goes to estates with small supply. Just my guess.

Registration and selection

When you attend the appointment to select your flat, you are required to have a valid HDB Loan Eligibility Letter (HLE) if you are taking a housing loan from HDB. In addition, you must bring along the following documents, of all persons listed in the application:

Identity cards. If you are employed, or serving National Service under the Singapore Armed Forces/ Civil Defence/ Police Force, you must provide a certified true copy of your Singapore pink/ blue identity card from your Personnel Department

Passport for non-citizens

Birth certificates of your children

Your birth certificate and your parents' marriage certificate if you are buying a flat under the Multi Generation Priority Scheme or Married Child Priority Scheme

Marriage certificate, if you are married; or divorce certificate, if you are divorced
Death Certificate of spouse, if spouse is deceased

Student Pass or Letter from School/ College/ Institute of Learning for persons who are 18 years old and above

Income documents for assessment of income ceiling to buy a flat

Income documents for assessment of income ceiling if taking Additional CPF Housing Grant (AHG) or Special Housing Grant (SHG)

Either a doctor's certification of pregnancy, or your child's birth certificate, if you have applied for a flat under the Parenthood Priority Scheme (PPS)

Im not able to post the link over here due to insufficient post! but its all in HDB website!

Apologies for the repeated qn.
When you mean checking the listing papers do you mean after the unit has been chosen and it's a document provided or we can actually have access of this info even before selection?

Hdb supposed to provide the list of units with the details before appointment date.
Previously hdb said will only be available in myhdb page 2 weeks prior to your appointment date
